Among the above 2 colleges, IET lucknow is best for engineering.It has very good placement opportunities than BIET jhansi, more companies come here.

also  it is among the top most government college of AKTU.

it is placed in middle of  lucknow  where the  environment around is soo good for coaching and extra learning so you learn more than college.it has various co curriculur activities , and far better academics.its campus is also very good.

so it is far better than BIET jhansi.

among IET Lucknow and BIET jhansi for engineering in CS ,IET Lucknow is far better.it is among the top government college of AKTU.If we talk overall in academics and placement , IET lucknow has more placed students so it has better placements.

Also, the environment here is quite good in term of learning something extra or coachings and all so you can learn very much extra also .Its campus i also very good ..it has quite more facilities than BIET jhansi

As you have secured 13210 general merit rank in upsee and you are a sc candidate, then it is nearly impossible for you to get any seat in biet jhnasi.

Last year the highest cutoff closing rank for sc candidates on the basis of their general merit rank was - 8174 ( for chemical engineering). And your general merit rank is higher than this.

So, with this much rank you cannot get biet jhansi, therefore better you try at some other colleges like uiet kanpur or some other good colleges.

There is not much difference in placements as both colleges have average  placements in core braches .
In biet jhansi , average placements goes upto 4.5 lakhs and highest - 12 lakhs .  Whereas in knit sultanpur average placements - 4lakhs and highest placement - 8 or 9 lakhs . So there is not much difference and students generally did not go for placements and choose higher studies after completing graduation.

It totally depends on what you want to have in future. If you are considering for higher studies then you should opt for BIET as you will be gaining knowledge there, which will serve as a foundation for your higher studies. On the other hand, if you are interested for a job after completion of your degree, then you should consider going for JSS as placements are good (although not 100%, yet, if you are an above average student then you are going to get through it)

The cut-off rank for Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering and Technology, Jhansi for Mechanical engineering branch for previous years' was - 1416 (closing rank)

For marks between range 310-349 you can expect a rank between 16,500 - 25,000.

It is difficult to get Mechanical branch in BIET, Jhansi as per the previous years' cut-off. I suggest you to check other colleges.
