hello aspirant,

yes, you have chances in  coimbatore institute of technology, college in computer science and engineering. as last year closing rank was  2000+ for mbc category.

however you have no chances in psg college as closing rank was 500+.

By refering your TNEA and community rank you will get placed in KCT or CIT for both Computer science and engineering and electonics and communication engineering.But as far as in PSG and GCT you have slight chance to get placed in those colleges.

cutoffs are only published for IIT's and not CIT.

but for Central Institute of Technology (CIT) Kokrajhar if you happen to be an unreserved candidate, then anywhere above 65 marks should put you into the merit list and hence you can estimate.

             The cutoff for Chemical engineering in CIT in the year 2018 was around 1867(opening)-4996(closing) in OC category. So if your general rank is less than 5000, you have some chances of getting chemical engineering in CIT.You can check last year's cutoffs from this link:

Note that college code for CIT is 2007.
