After the release of GBPUAT merit list, you have to first, choose your choices/preferences, then wait for the declaration of result, if chosen you will receive a seat allotment letter and shall be called for counseling. During the counselling ,you have to submit your seat allotment letter, receipt of counselling fee,and other necessary documents. Go to their link for other necessary information:-

For every type of counselling you need to fill the form only once then you will be eligible for all of the round. And according to that you can jump to next round without any extra registration and can choose Float or Freeze option.

And if you want to participate in the special/spot round counselling then you need to complete an additional registration for that particular round.

Hope you are doing well it is difficult to predict because it depends on the level of question paper and number of students as you mentioned you got 80 percentile your rank would fall between 1 lakh to 2 lakh or more . see cutoff score varies every year and depends on the determining factors like number of applicant, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category and so on.

now based on previous years data the highest rank in GBPUAT  was
73240 for industrial engineering, SO AT THIS Rank it seems difficult chances for you to secure any of the stream from general category.

If you want to get admission in GBPUAT, you have to crack JEE MAINS exam also with good rank. The admission in this university is on the basis of JEE MAINS rank and 10+2 percentage but the preference is given more to JEE MAINS rank holders.

You have a good PCM percentage and a good rank in JEE MAINS will secure you the seat in this university.
