For IERT Allahabad which is a state government engineering institution  total Fees excluding hostel fees = 57000-62000 yearly

and hostel fees plus mess fees would be = 40000 yearly

For Lucknow University which is a public state university founded in 1867, the University of Lucknow is one of the oldest government owned institutions of higher education in India.

Total fees would be excluding hostel fees = 80000 yearly

but who comes under fee waiver shall all the fee except tuition fee i.e. 55000

And hostel fees plus mess mess would be =40000

Institute of engineering and rural technology, Allahabad  is a public university with 27 acres of campus area and they have 87 faculty members.

They provide various courses like Diploma, BE/BTech, PGD, PGDCA. The fees for the engineering course is Rs 2.62 lakhs and around 60 seats per branch.

They have hostel, library, medical service, IT infrastructure , Laboratories, etc on campus.

Their placement is not so good but most students get placed, although package is less.

Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology is a state government engineering institution in Allahabad (officially Prayagraj). It is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.IT spreads over 26.5 acres of land. It has separate hostel and mess facilities for boys and girls with this is approved by AICTE .

The college owns standard engineering workshops for diploma students, well equipped with upscale machinery. Separate labs run for B.Tech. students. It has 2 libraries - one reference and one main library, that cater to students' needs regarding books.

But according to the feedback and research placements facilities is not good and less recuiters companies are visited and very low placements ,so if you are looking for placements point of view then this college is not good .

IERT is a fine college, for engineering specially for civil engineering. Though the placements are not that good but still the academic is very good the professors are well trained, and if you can work hard then you might get a handsome package.The highest package at IERT is 12lpa so , there is an good opportunity for you if you work hard.
