IERT Allahbad is fair to do college if you are pursuing B.TECH in Electronics and Instrumentation engineering. Most of the teachers teaching here are IIT/NIT qualified and placement scenario Of this college is also more or less fair. In the department you are asking , the average placement go around 75-80% of the batch and the avg.salary offered is around 4-5 LPA.

Instrumentation engineering nowadays has much scope as other branches of engineering. Mostly their job is to create and develop new control systems, analysis of data management, and testing and Maintenance period. It has emerged over the years as one of the most demanding engineering streams that students take interest in.

 Dear placement opportunities are very few in the college and and also under this branch.The college campus,infrastructure,faculty all are average.And you will have to work on yourself.You should look after for other options if you are getting that.You can read the reviews of passout students on this link.

First of all Congratulating you on your nice performance that you deserve both of the nice college and I would like to tell you that if you are asking for college then both are private engineering college but since you are getting computer science engineering in galgotia then it has an edge over instrumentation and production engineering in iert. If you were to take my opinion then I would suggest you to take admission in galgotia with computer science engineering. Go ahead and choose smartly.

Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology is a state government engineering institution in prayagraj. It is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. Admissions to the college are based upon the merit of the student in the State Entrance Exam conducted by Dr. A.P.J.

It depends upon in which course you want take admission because it's diploma is fully autonomous whereas the degree and management course are affiliated through AKTU which is semi government college. So its neither a private or fully government college.

I would like to tell you that iert is a private engineering college but you are getting decent branch. On the other hand biet and knit is government colleges but you aren't getting computer science engineering so if you prefer branch Cs over it then you should iert but if you are thinking of government college then you should choose biet and knit.

Your chances of getting Computer Science and Engineering in Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology - [IERT], Allahabad are not very high as things go and considering the reputation and placement statistics CSE comes with.

But you can surely expect Electronics engineering as you approach the concluding rounds of counseling.
