IERT Allahabad All Questions

It depends upon in which course you want take admission because it's diploma is fully autonomous whereas the degree and management course are affiliated through AKTU which is semi government college. So its neither a private or fully government college.

First of all Congratulating you on your nice performance that you deserve all  these nice colleges. I would like to tell you that iert is a private engineering college but you are getting decent branch. On the other hand biet and knit is government colleges but you aren't getting computer science engineering so if you prefer branch Cs over it then you should iert but if you are thinking of government college then you should choose biet and knit.

Your chances of getting Computer Science and Engineering in Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology - [IERT], Allahabad are not very high as things go and considering the reputation and placement statistics CSE comes with.

But you can surely expect Electronics engineering as you approach the concluding rounds of counseling.

How your OBC rank is high and General rank is low. There might be some mistake while writing the question.  Anyway your categorical rank is low and you can get any top college. You can get CS branch for sure even with 3650.

You can also apply for IET which one of the top and best college. You can apply for TFW for which you don't have to pay Tution for every semester.

There are 2 departments ,degree and diploma.The degree division students receive 4 to 6 lakhs per annum.The diploma division gets 1.2 to 2.5 lakhs.The top companies that come from recruitment are laursen and tourbo,hindalco,maruti suzuki,birla carbon.to get placed you need to score atleast 80% in your exams
