IET Lucknow Facilities

Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), Lucknow provides many facilities to students to make their college life easy. Gym and sports facilities are available for the students so that they can stay physically and mentally fit. IET Lucknow facilities include separate hostels for girls and boys students, an auditorium for conducting events, seminars, group discussions, and many more.

Boys Hostel
IET Lucknow has six hostels for boys’ students with 24-hour backup power supply. The hostel rooms are well-furnished and spacious.
Girls Hostel
The institute provides separate accommodation facilities for the girls’ students. Two hostels are available for the girls’ students. Wardens are also available to take care of the hostel students. Recreational facilities are also available for the hostel students.
Medical/Hospital
Institute of Engineering and Technology has a well-organised dispensary that is headed by the medical officer and supporting staff. The dispensary remains functioning during OPD hours.
Gym
IET Lucknow gymnasium is well equipped and provides services to both boys and girls at separate times. All the necessary machines are available that help the students to stay fit and healthy.
Library
The IET Lucknow library provides access to students to numerous books, magazines, international journals, newspapers and research papers. It also has a huge collection of old copies of essential periodicals along with educational CD-ROMs.
Sports
The institute has various sports grounds such as a football ground, a cricket field, a lawn tennis court, basketball and volleyball courts, a running track and many others. Students can play the games of their choice during their leisure time.
I.T Infrastructure
The institute has a well-maintained IT infrastructure that provides internet connectivity to the whole campus
Laboratories
The institute of laboratories for all the departments. Students can visit the laboratories to get some hands-on experience for better learning.
Banks/ATMs
IET Lucknow has a Vijaya Bank Branch inside the campus premises. This helps the students with instant deposits and withdrawals of money.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is quite good and meets most of the daily needs of students. Classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated, and equipped with basic teaching aids, while some rooms also have smart boards. Laboratories are properly set up with sufficient equipment for practical learning and are maintained regularly. The library has a good collection of academic books, reference materials, and a decent reading environment. Wi-Fi connectivity is available across the campus, though the speed can fluctuate at times. Sports facilities are available for both indoor and outdoor games, encouraging students to stay active. Hostels are clean, living spaces are hygienic, and the food quality is acceptable and improving. Overall, the infrastructure supports academics and campus life well.

College Infrastructure

It has large campus around 150 acres with academic blocks, hostels, staff residences, and green spaces. it has laboratories centarl library computer centre Auditorium and seminar Halls. it has multiple boys hostel and girl's hostel with Wi-Fi facilities, canteen, Banking and ATM within campus.

College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is good not best , there is very few wifi installed in campus , libraries is good and most of the academic book are available, and issuing book from library is hassel free , classroom is decent .

I got 60 percent in class 12 I wanted to do btech, I am now confused that should I take admission in private college (Shri ram Swaroop college) or take drop and give JEE for admission in IET Lucknow . I missed both the JEE attempts of 2025?

Its okay if you missed jee this year you can drop year for JEE to get into a government institute like IET Lucknow to get better placement here and fees is also less in comparison with SRMU but it also means delaying a year with no guarantee success.
