Campus is overall good but with some issues that can be ignored easily like in summer it is like oven. But at the end it is government college so you can't expect more than it. And the fees is too little.
Actually it is an engineering college and placements are literally good from this college but I'm doing MBA from here and my 8 seniors packed package of 8-10 lpa that is too good with the fees of 2 years which is 1.6 lacks and if you are eligible you can get approx 1 lakhs as scholarship so overall ROI is better than many private colleges and of course it makes it UPs number one college in terms of ROI.
Overall placement is good from the pov of return on investment. My seniors packed good amount of package from the college and I can proudly say it's totally worth to take admission to boost the career in the minimum budget.
Yes it is. Because for engineering it is one of the finest government college of UP ranked after IIT kanpur and MNIT Prayagraj.
Campus life is overall ok but not that enjoying but it's good.
Overall my experience is good from this college because of all the efforts faculty makes to improve the overall persona of student.
The college infrastructure is above average. the college space is 100 acres with one active canteen and an inhouse bank overall no major setback can be seen in terms of the infrastructure of the college.hostel allocation facilities are also present.
Quality of teaching is Good. The curriculum followed is aktu university with is not on par and hasn't got a major refresh since the start. the teachers are mostly friendly and will help you when u need them.
In every year nearly around 70% of the passed out students will get placements. Our college provides support for placement preparation. On the average 4 LPA package will given in the placements. Management is also student friendly.

the placement scenario of mechanical engineering is not good.only 2-3 companies visit for the mechanical engineering department and need crucial support. the training placement cell has been recently made so the situations are likely to improve here
It's the government college and in aktu university the best. the college is also autonomous and therefore several relaxations are also given in terms of attendance strictness and else. one can easily prepare for Gate and other competitive exams here
the campus life is great .you will get to enjoys your lid=fe fully here with minimum restrictions such as in attendance and dress code
a mega sport complex will be ready till 2022
Its okay if you missed jee this year you can drop year for JEE to get into a government institute like IET Lucknow to get better placement here and fees is also less in comparison with SRMU but it also means delaying a year with no guarantee success.
Joining a private college like SRMU now avoids losing a year, but it comes with higher costs and generally lower placement statistics compared to top government institutions.
ultimately Your decision should be based on your skill whether you can significantly improve your JEE score versus accepting a faster, but potentially more expensive, path to your B.Tech.
Hope it helps..
With a 94.25 percentile in JEE Main , your All India Rank (AIR) should roughly fall between 35,000 to 40,000. If you are a Home State (UP) candidate , here's how it compares:
For CSE , the closing rank under Home State Quota has ranged from 27,000 to 32,000 .
For Artificial Intelligence (AI-specialization) , it's been around 35,000 to 40,000 .
So at your percentile, you may just miss CSE , but your chances for AI branch are more realistic—especially under home state quota
Hi Anshika, with a JEE Main AIR of 283784 and an EWS rank of 40540, getting CSE at IET Lucknow is very unlikely. The EWS cutoff for CSE at IET Lucknow usually closes much earlier, typically well under 5000 to 7000 in EWS category ranks. Your rank is far beyond that range.
Even in later rounds, the chances are quite low unless there’s an unexpected drop in demand. You can still try for other branches at IET Lucknow or explore private colleges in UP that accept JEE Main scores. If CSE is your main target, you might consider preparing for a better attempt next year or looking into other good colleges with lower cutoffs.
