Sorry to say that the closing range for Kamla Nehru Institure of Technology, Sultanpur for general category(GNOP) is way less(in magnitude) as compared to 13000.

So you should try for admission in other colleges.

Hey Hareesh, it is very difficult to get admission in KNIT college with 91 percentile in JEE mains and that too in Computer science or mecMechani branch. The cutoff for this college is very high, sorry to say but with 91 percentile, there is no chance to get admission there.

you gave exam for btech lateral entry.

lateral entry cutoff/closing rank  is quite low for IET and KNIT. here are some details for lateral and for obc category:-

• IET:- for mechanical engineering :- 11-27
  
•  civil engineering :- 16-22
  
• electrical engineering:- 37-40
  
• CSE:- 32-98
  
• ECE:- 152-407
  
• chemical engineering:- 372-408
  
• EIE:- 196-475
  

it would be better for you to go for IET which is a top engineering college. KNIT has the cutoff nearly to IET.

there will be a difference of +10 or -10 only.

better go for IET.

As per the previous year opening and closing rank of the three counseling sets, I have analyzed that you can get mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, electronic and communication,IT but every year there is different range given in opening and closing rank. 

You can change the branch in second year but for changing the branch there should be availablity of seat matrix and you should be top 3 students in the first year and your rank, no supplementary should be there. For changing the branch you have to work hard.

Thanks for your query! According to the previous years' cutoffs and the data it is quite difficult for you to get admission in any of the mentioned colleges like iet,knit because since these are the government colleges the cutoffs here are usually very high!
