Dear Applicant,

I hope you are doing well. I can understand its abot of tedious job to choose a college that will benefit you. This can be very confusing for sure. No worries i shall try my best to help you.

The first thing u need to look out in a good college are the following :

  1. Recognization : check if the college is accredited by NAAC or  is linked to UGC, whether its autonomous or the type of course they offer. This will tell you the level at which the college is at.
  2. Placements : if the college offers good placements to you than it's good. Some colleges don't have the potential to offer good placements to their students thus it becomes a drawback. If a college has good ties to highly reputed companies than it will benefit you exponentially.
  3. The environment : the environment or the facilities they offer you like wife, good food, the level of the library etc.. even look out for reviews of the infrastructure.

These are some of the things u can keep into consideration. Choose the college that will provide you the best and caters to the needs of the students and not just fill their pockets with your money. After all you will be paying quite some amount of money to study.

Hope this helps u a bit!!

Dear aspirant

You can participate in both counselling at the same time. But read carefully the terms conditions of AIQ counseling nd state counselling for the respective rounds. As anyone who participated in round 2 of AIQ and they have been allotted a college then you are bound to take the allotted college seat or otherwise if you don't report to the college you will loose your security deposit. So second round in AIQ COUNSELING is exit with forfeiture (loose security money) there is no free exit after the first round of AIQ. So be careful read every condition of both state and AIQ COUNSELING then only participate in both at same time. Or otherwise compare your marks to last year cut off and get confirmat that which counseling you should participate

You can use our college predictor tool and get probable list at which colleges you can have shot

Hope this information helps you.

Hi

It's a little difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But when we go through previous data then it suggests that with 482 marks   you hold  a low chance for a seat in a Government Medical College

We don't have Neet 2019 cutoff data for ews category under Maharashtra state quota but yes in neet  2019, 539 marks for general category was the lowest mark to get an mbbs seat in  Government Medical College,   under  Maharashtra State quota and it was for  Government Medical College and Hospital, Gondia and cutoff for ews category is similar to that of general category ,there is not much difference ,so with 482 marks your chances of getting a seat in Government Medical College is  low

But yes,
with your marks you have chances for Government quota seat in following private medical college under Maharashtra state quota:-

*Vedantaa Institute of Medical Science Vedantaa Hospital and Research Center, Palghar

.

*SMBT Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Center, Nashik

Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but  cutoff keeps changing every year depending upon many factors as mentioned earlier, so to have a clear picture of the colleges in which you have chances and
to get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

It gives you a personalized report with top college in which you have chances for admission , with the help of predicted colleges you can make better choice while filling your choices of colleges during your counselling

Thankyou

Dear aspirant,

Since you have already applied again for handicap certificate for correction and have an affidavit regarding the incorrect information in the certificate. This has left no room for the college to reject your counselling on the basis of an error in your certificate.

So you will not face any problem in Jossa counselling.
