Hi Vishal,

If you have scored 75% or above in your 12th and have good marks in JEE main then yes you are eligible for NIT/IIT.

Hope this helps

Hy there aspirant,

Qualifying in jee mains is also good thing if you are not eligible for any of IIT's and NIT's don't lose hope there are many colleges who will give you admission in the basis of marks or rank you scored in jee . Here is a link for you to get better understanding. https://engineering.careers360.com/colleges/list-of-engineering-colleges-in-maharashtra-accepting-jee-main. wishing you luck.

Firstly, I appreciate your confidence level and want to tell my 3rd attempt story.

At the time of appearing (2014),I am not ready for JEE because my preparation was only board level. Means I left the 1st attempt exam. After that, I joined a target batch in Patna and end with 106 marks (AIR Rank 53000). After that, I admitted a worst private college through JEE Rank (Sorry, I can't tell you college name). So again Onwards January 2016, I started the preparation for JEE Main along with college attending and I got 140 marks (AIR Rank 31000).

Now I am in IIEST Shibpur. It is better college than that of above mention private college in terms of education, infrastructure, research, placement and many more things.

Here The main point is, if you are confident then you should go for 3rd attempt with more energy. Definitely you will get a good NIT or any other college.

So Don't waste the life in worst college, waste a year for good life and atleast you should know that “Degree of a good college is better than that of worst college, no matter when you complete it”.

Best of luck for your upcoming future!!!

Greetings to you,

As per JEE guidelines, the candidate must have secured at least 75% in class 12th boards or must be in the top 20 precentile for the same in the state. Since you satisfy the second option in the criteria, you are very much eligible to appear for JEE Mains to stand a chance get into NITs, IIITs or GFTIs. Good luck.

Hello dear,

According to your rank in jee mains 2019,you have very less chance to get seat in any NIT as your rank in your category is very high to get seat in these college.

Hello Anjani!

I am really sorry but your board marks are not sufficient. Your mains marks won't matter if you don't fulfil the eligibility criteria. I would suggest you to start searching for other options. However, keep a track on the official website. So that, if they change anything, you'll know it.

Dear aspirant your rank is not good enough to get a seat in government engineering colleges. You can take admission in private colleges like iem, uem, techno india, and heritage in Kolkata. If you are opting for cse then i will recommend you to take admission in iem or techno india

Hello dear,

According to your percentile in jee mains your general rank will be close to 4.8 lakh and with this rank you will not able to get seat in any NIT in any category .

Hello dear,

According to your rank in jee mains 2019 you have very less chance to get seat in any NIT as your rank in your category is very high, your rank should be under 6000 in obc category to get seat in NIT.

Hello Aspirant
You are not mentioning the category . If you are from general category then your score is very low . You can't get any seat in IIIT or in nit . You should try for private college .
