    College Infrastructure

Infrastructure of my college is well and good. Adequate classroom with projector facilities. Lab and workshop are also good. Washrooms are clean and well maintained. Canteens offer healthy and clean food.

    Academics

Good and friendly faculty. They solve our doubts. Get us involved in academic and other curricular areas. Give application level knowledge on each topic. Provide good notes and pdf. Take revision tests and quizzes to test our level of understanding. Also discuss question papers which is very helpful.

    Placements

Our college offer good placements since a long time. More companies has started to come as our college have got Tier 1 NBA accreditation. Reasonable placements in core branches. More than 70% placements last year

Job ready skills with quality teaching

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

The infrastructure and facilities provided by the college for learning are really good. All the labs and other teaching facilities are well-maintained. However, the quality of the canteen and its food has declined this year, with food prices continuously increasing.

    Academics

The faculty in the mechanical department are very good at teaching but can be very rude to students. Faculty in other departments are generally very good. The curriculum set by Rajagiri is well-structured and easy to learn, but the exam question papers during the end-of-semester exams are significantly more difficult compared to the university papers.

    Placements

The placements start in semester 6. Based on available information, about 30 to 40% of students get placed every year from the mechanical department. The main companies that visit for mechanical engineering opportunities are Toyota and Royal Enfield.

    College Infrastructure

Availability of civil labs like survey labs, material testing labs, geotechnical labs, fluid mechanics labs, etc. are there. The classroom has a projector for visual understanding. The library provides every book needed for engineering and other articles. Hostel facilities are of top class, providing good food and accommodation.

    Academics

The teachers were highly educated and taught very well; they helped when students had difficulties in topics. The teaching quality was pretty good. The semester exams are a bit tough but can be easily studied if we want to study; the pass percentage was about 95 percent.

    Placements

About 40 percent of students were placed every year. The lowest package offered was about 5 lacs per annum initially; the highest is 7 lacs per annum; and the average package a civil engineer earns was about 6 lacs per annum. Top recruiters are L&T, KMR, Ultratech, etc. About 90 percent of students got internship opportunities. Structural engineers are the top roles offered.

    Modern campus with advanced facilities

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is very good. It is a beautiful college. Labs are very well-sorted. The college has enough systems and all the specific labs for other subjects are also very good. The atmosphere is also very pretty. The college is very green and clean.

    Academics

Our course has six subjects. Our course is a bit not hectic because there are a lot more subjects, but there is no engineering graphics or chemistry in the first year, which is a different advantage. The course curriculum is relevant.

    Placements

I think some percentage of students get placed here. The highest salary package offered ranges from 3.5-4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Amazon, TCS, and more local companies visit the college to hire students. I believe TCS does give an internship, and I am not aware of it. Since it is a business-related course, students tend to get placements related to the course.

Great labs for hands on projects.

    College Infrastructure

The facilities present on the campus in the hostel are really good. All departments have multiple labs for themselves. The libraries are well equipped to help the students and some departments have libraries of their own apart from the common one. The quality of the food in the mess is relatively better compared to other hostels and they regularly consult the student hostelers if there are changes to be made

    Academics

Most teachers are helpful and would happily help us. The teachers are really qualified and some of the teachers rank among the top 3% of the world's scientists and have several Ph.D. The initial semesters are hard and it will be a grind and then it progressively gets easier.

    Placements

RSET is mainly known for their placements in Kerala. Most students opt for RSET because of this very reputation. The college tries their best to get you placed if we don't have any supplementary papers at the time of placements. The companies that come for recruitment include TCS, Cognizant, etc.

Practical learning with real world experience

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

The college campus is amazing, with a gym, a basketball court, a farm, and 3 blocks for lectures. It's a huge campus with 2 cafes and 1 big canteen. The hostel though I must say is pretty bad for a private college, especially for the first-year girl students. The hostel fee is usually around Rs90k per annum. The food used to be terrible back when I was in my first year. But after the first year, they shift you to the way better campus hostel. They need to build a hostel facility for first-year female students since they have to travel 20 minds to and fro just for college and they have to pay extra for the bus facilities as well.

    Academics

The faculty in our department is average. Not everyone is nice. Some don't grade us well while there are other professors who do set the questions papers very lenient and are very friendly to us. The subjects are pretty average but interesting. The difficulty may vary but as of now, it isn't that difficult. The curriculum I feel needs more practical knowledge, especially in robotics and machine learning.

    Placements

The placements usually start mainly from the 7th semester. From what I know only around 40% of the students actually get placed usually from IBM, Wipro, and Cognizant for students in the IT and CS field. I had also heard of students rejecting offers due to low starting packages. Many also plan on going for higher studies.

    Great education, strong placement

    College Infrastructure

The infrastructure at RSET is top notch. The well equipped labs, beautiful campus and spacious classrooms provided a great foundation for my engineering education. The overall facilities were definitely a plus point for my education there.

    Academics

If you are looking for a college that will challenge you academically and prepare you for a successful engineering career RSET is an excellent choice. The combination of experienced faculty, a modern curriculum, and a focus on practical learning creates a strong foundation for your future.

    Placements

If landing a stable job after graduation is your primary concern then RSET’s placement record is a positive. They do equip you with the basic tools to succeed in interviews. Overall it is a great place.

    Value for Money

In my opinion, RSET offers a good value for money. The quality education, strong placements and focus on practical learning make it a worthwhile investment. However cost factor is a significant factor to consider.

    Campus Life

If you are a student who prioritizes academics and a well maintained environment then Rajagiri is a great choice. The beautiful campus and opportunities for extra curricular activities add to the experience.

    College Infrastructure

Undeniably beautiful campus. Buildings are classy, classrooms are well maintained. Has one of the best and biggest auditorium in the state. A lot of greenery around and is constructed next to a lake so a beautiful view guaranteed.

    Academics

They give utmost priority to education. Teaching staff are well qualified and makes sure we study well. I studied ECE and they make sure we are well versed with the basics through theoretical as well as hands on approach.

    Placements

The college has a very high placement percentage. Even during the pandemic and with onlince classes, they manage to maintain that quality. The best companies come to the campus for recruitment and college emsures we're well prepared by placement training from third year of studies.

    Value for Money

The cost was 85000 per year. But yeah no complaints. It was worth it. A great campus, quality education and guaranteed placement for most students. So yeah money's worth for sure.

    Campus Life

Like I mentioned before the college givesaon priority to academics, but there are a lot of events worth participating and having fun in. And ofcourse we have the chance to go for tech festivals in other colleges so make theost out of that. And friends, they make any campus life worth every second.

    Others

Overall I had a great experience in this college. The major credit goes to my friends ofcourse and a few teachers as well. My advice; don't stress it. Learn, put your best effort into studies but do not forget to have fun.

    College Infrastructure

Yes the college do provide facilities which are exceptional is comparison to other colleges. Hostels are also infrastructure wise good and well maintained with facilities like WiFi, gym etc. Living space provided are also good and the hostel mess is not that good but are the locality of the hostel is good students find places outside hostel to have better food.

    Academics

This place provides a better platform for some to enhance their knowledge in their respective fields . Specifically speaking about mechanical branch, the facilities are well qualified and very helpful when it comes to both academics as well as in other activities.

    Placements

Right now the situation is being really crucial (because of covid pandemic), placements are not that good but not that worsened. Most of the IT companies have only participated in the placement. The percentage of students placed is about 50-60%. The highest package was offered by the company CTS (Cognizant) which is a CTC of 5lkhs per annum and they offered the job to everyone irrespective of the branch in which the students are in.

    Value for Money

Coming soon to cost, yes, it is a bit higher. Majority of the students are reluctant in joining the college because of the initial caution deposit the college ask for which is 1.86lkhs(this amount is obviously going to be returned after 4yrs of course), which most middle class family can't afford.Talking about the course it costs about 85000per year .

    Campus Life

Students have the freedom to engage themselves in any activities that takes place within the campus as well as outside. Location wise it is pretty good and easily accessible. In case of emergencies, yes, we do have medical facilities and if it's that crucial condition the college have it's own hospital,so no worries about that I guess.

    Others

Overall I think it is a good place to study.

    Academics

The teachers are very much dedicated. They make sure that the topics are completed. The curriculum is updated according to the university needs. The staffs encourage you to keep updated about the trends in the industry.

    Placements

A good placement team, who work on getting maximum placement conversion. The highest salary was around 14lpa for CS department. The placement team provides industrial training and great support for the interviews. They build the students to be industry ready.

    • RSET offers 10 courses in B.Tech, whereas Christ University offers 6 courses.
    • Fees compared is lower for RSET.
    • Infrastructure is better in RSET, kochi.

    Hello,

    Hello,

In between FISAT and RSEt I will always prefer the FISAT first. Doing engineering is always matters a good curriculum in College . Institute should have good placement and career oriented facilities. FISAT provides all these goodies at it's best. It has students curriculum facilities and also good placement.

No doubtly you can go for FISAT.

In case RSET , it is a moderate College but good college though it is not good like FISAT. Placement is also average here but it has good faculties and study oriented programs .

    Hope for the best.

    Thank you .

    Hello,

if you share with 3 Students then the fees will be reduced by 10-15k INR for eg if your hostel fees is 70k INR the in sharing with 3 students it'll be around 60-55k INR.

    Hope this helps,

    all the best !
