Our college infrastructure is quiet good..we have a big auditorium room where many events were organized.. we have more than 15 labs and more than 50 classrooms ..each floor contain min 10 classrooms. We have one big library and small 3 libraries..
I am currently pursuining btech in information technology..i choose these college for good campusing and here faculty is very good for individual subjects...the quality of teaching is top notch..and teachers r very friendly behave with the students.
Here placement is good but in previous year the placement becomes quiet bad i dont know the reason but my clg organization r working hard to overcome these problem..but we get very good good internship opportunities...
Yes i think this clg is value for money...because here the environment is very good...here students r treated equally..many events r organized by the students so that our clg can compete with other colleges.
Campus life is very good.here every student respects each other whether they r senior or junior or not..we have 3 canteen ...and in canteen good quality food always available. Many events are organized so happily.
My overall experience in this college is very well. Education system, Campus, Infrastructure all are really very good. There are also many sports , scope of extracurricular activities in this college.
I am studying bachelor in information technology in RCC institute of information technology. Teaching quality is very good and teachers are student friendly. They sometimes use digital boards and practical labs are well developed also.
I am almost in the middle of my course . So I have not a huge idea about placement. But as far as I know our placement cell is very active to place each and every student of various departments. Almost 70% students are placed in last few years and highest package was average 16 lpa.
I think my money is worth for this 4 years course. Course costs 4,47000 but now it has increased.
The college campus is very good and nature friendly. There are two campuses old and new.
College infrastructure is okay. It has two campuses. The old campus has library, administrative office, BCA/MCA Classes, some labs like workshop and chemistry lab. But library collection is not up to the mark. Though the college campus is Wi-Fi enabled, it doesn't work properly most times. The engineering departments are in the new campus. There is playground in the new campus. Sometimes you may face issues with the computers in labs. And lastly this college doesn't have any hostel. You have to find PG outside. Classrooms aren't air-conditioned. But college is trying to upgrade its infrastructure every year.
This college is affiliated with MAKAUT(Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology). Personally I think MAKAUT syllabus is very much backdated with unnecessary stuffs. Whatever you learn, you will have to do it on your own. But maximum of our department professors are very much co-operative and friendly. You may approach them for any kind of issue. They will try their best. Some professors may be strict about attendance and internal marks. Overall academically it's a good college but as it's affiliated to MAKAUT the college doesn't have much to do for students' good.
Placement of this college is average. Actually you can't expect very good placement from any college affiliated to MAKAUT. It depends on you. Some big MNCs like PwC, Cognizant visits the campus. Some start-ups may also visit. Placement also depends on the job market. Overall the placement percentage is around 50% on campus for eligible students as I know. But whatever you can try off-campus placement also. Many students go for off-campus placement, many also go for higher study through GATE/CAT, some goes to abroad and some tries for govt service also. The only good thing about placement is that we don't have to compete with any other college students which happen in Techno or JIS group colleges. But some times college arranges pool campusing with other colleges.
The total fees for my course is 4.3 lacs(for 4 years.) It was much lesser than other private colleges at my time. But from 2023-24 session the fees has been increased to 6 lacs(for all other colleges also). The average placement is around 4lpa. Now it's upto you to decide if it's value for money or not.
Compared to other colleges, our campus life is good as it's not limited to just one building. We have playgrounds, 2 campuses. There are enough extra-curricular activities. We have one cultural fest called Regalia, one inter-college sports event and one intra-college sports event, one techfest called Techtrix. Also there are departmental fest. There are various clubs like NSS, Coding Club etc.
This college used to be one of the top engineering colleges under WBJEE earlier times also it's said that it's not a full private college(you can call this semi-govt) as the land of this college was given by Govt of WB and it was a joint collaboration between central govt, WB govt and Ministry of IT. But nowadays this college isn't like it was earlier also fees is also high now if we consider this a semi-govt college. Hope the situation will get better in future.
RCCIIT is a very nice college , good infrastructure, good faculties, good campus life , good placements , good internship opportunities, overall it is a very good college in west bengal if you want to study BTech
Good faculties. The facilities are very supportive and helpful. You can visit and contact any faculty at any time during and after the college hours if you need any help from them. You can surely opt for this college
Placement opportunities are very good, large number of companies visit the college for internships and placement for the 3rd year and final year candidates, an average package of ten lakhs is given from the companies.
College infrastructure in quite good and well equipped. There are 4 computer labs in each floors and the whole building has wifi. It does not have any hostel for the student. Rooms are quite clean and maintained.
I am studying here because it has good rank. No student can enter this college without giving entrance exam WBJEE Or jeemain. The students should enter through the process of counseling only. Quality of teaching is quite good.
Quality of the placement is quite good. Most of students are placed in the placement. The placement starts from the fourth year as I am presently in the second year I am don't know much about placement.
Btech in information technology cost 4,37,000 for four years, the whole package. We have to give 72,400 at the time of admission then 50-55 thousand per semester. It varies semester wise. Till now I think the money is worth it
The campus life is quite good. We have two campus. Both the campus are not so big. It has one auditorium and 2 canteens. Students can keep them engage in sports, various cultural programs and technical programs also.
Yes. My college had all the facilities that an engineering college should have. As a Department of Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering student, I got all the laboratory facilities during practical classes.
The quality of teaching is not outstanding but you will be able to manage your studies. It follows the Makut curriculum which was not so updated during my time. Now it has been updated. Your academics would not make you job-ready. You have to do it by yourself.
The placement of CSE, IT, and MCA is good but you would not get too many opportunities if you are from EE or AEIE. The ECE department gets the average opportunity. If you get admission to the CSE/IT department then you need not think about placement.
RCC Institute of Information Technology is located at Beliaghata in Kolkata. College has two campusses. College campuses is okay but college don't have any hostel. College is improving its infrastructure every year.
Basically I want to grow my career in software engineering so I choose information technology. Some faculties teaching style is very good but others don't teaching well. The student and professor ratio is 1:60.
The placement of RCC Institute of Information Technology is good. The highest package in 2023 was 14 lpa which was offered by BMC. The average lpa for IT students nearly LPA. In 2023 nearly 70% of IT students are placed.
College fees is around 6 lakh for total BTech course and the average placement for IT students is 4 LPA. I think this is okay.
College organised every year many fest for students like Bihaan,Regallia,Techtrix etc.
College also conducts direct admission process without any kind of donation.
College infrastructure is very good, there are 2 campuses of our college on either side of the road and both are large enough , the most exciting thing is that the college is now going through a renovation session which will definitely increase its beauty.
Till now all the teachers who have taught me jn this college are good and supportive. The teachers here maintain a friendly behavior with the students and they are always ready to help you . . . . . .
In my knowledge the placement history of this college is very good. Average package is 6-7Lpa which is more than the 4 years fees and highest was probably 12lpa which is also good. Many companies apart from mass recruiters visit this college which is also a positive thing.
The fees of this college is very minimal that is 4.5 lakhs which is very less when compared to fees of other colleges. I feel that I'm getting money's worth because the overall academic environment of this college is too good.
Campus Life at RCCIIT is just awesome. There are many fests and events that keep happening in our college, these events also help us to network with people of different departments and seniors and also helps us improve our communication skills.
Yes, My College have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. Every classroom, laboratories have projectors and screen some classrooms also have smartboards. There is Wifi throughout the Campus - Both Old & New
I am studying Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering because it's my dream to be a software engineer from my childhood. The quality of teaching here is absolutely fine and easy to understand. Yes curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments. Yes it's job ready.
Quality of placement is quite good at our college. Around 90% of students were placed. Highest Salary package was 13 LPA. It goes to Computer Science and Engineering. Average Salary offered is 5 LPA. Yes the placement process is easy here. Our college is extremely supportive.
My course costs around 1 lakh per year. Yes I am getting value for money education here. The quality of education here is very good along with all kinds of modern infrastructure. There are many laboratories throughout the campus
My campus life is extremely great. Students can get engaged in various activities technical, cultural, sports etc. The location is too easy. All kinds of transport are available. Yes emergencies are also handled.
Decent facilities, but 3rd tier struggles show. Labs lack modern equipment, library resources limited. Infrastructure needs an upgrade for a more conducive learning environment. Good faculty compensates, but invest in better resources for holistic education.
Budding talents meet uninspiring academics. Faculty sincerity varies; some gems, some lacking. Syllabus outdated, hindering real-world relevance. Invest in curriculum overhaul for a brighter academic future.
For a 3rd tier college, placements paints a promising picture with notable success stories, Industry tries growing, reflecting in diver job opportunities. Still commendable. For more detailed placement report you can head to official college website.
Lacks a hostel facility, that is a downer, though you will find PGs, and housing societies to hang by.
Hey Sajal:)
Thanks for reaching out!
Congrats on getting a great WBJEE rank of 5075!
At your rank both are open to you for CSE,but the choice depends on what you value more.NSEC is know for its placement record. Top recruiters visit, the average package is higher, and it has stong
Hello,
Choosing between RCC Institute of Information Technology (RCCIIT) and Netaji Subhash Engineering College (NSEC) for MCA depends on your priorities regarding attendance and placements.
1. Attendance:
While official policies at both institutions generally require 75% attendance, NSEC is typically perceived as being more lenient with attendance enforcement. This leniency
Hello Sayon,
TO pursue B.Tech in CSE there are plenty of good colleges in West Bengal itself. From your list the Narula Institute of Technology and the Haldia Institute of Technology are two of the best colleges out there.
