To enjoy the college life you are always welcome to this college..this college has up to the mark facilities..but lacks in the section of good faculty..it thinks for the students and its is affordable..im quite happy being in this college..at some parts it also needs to be developed in infrastructural aspect as well..but in a whole its a good college..and I'm satisfied with it.

Our college was great in several aspects in that few are industry exposure, infrastructure, placements etc. , in our college every year several students will be placed in any companies in them mainly computer science students will be placed when comes to other branches in them only thirty percent will be placed and in remaining twenty percent will be trying to score a good rank in gate.and in all factors our college is one among the greatest

This college has not fulfilled my expectation. The faculty is not good.Though it has some good infrastructure, it's utilization is bad.Placement is average. There is no hostel facility.Campus life is good. This college has some good sporting culture. Two big sporting events occur in a year.Among all private college, our college has comparatively low fees. So, as far as private college is concerned, our college is good but it really needs to better the quality of faculties. Also, it needs to bring more transparency to placement related concerns.

Transition from school to college was scary to say the least. However a friendly atmosphere made me feel at home. Professors take care of each and every student often staying beyond their class hours. The student crowd has a lot of diversities as they represent the various states of the country. Overall the college is worth spending four years in.

All kind help whether it study or personal are provided by the college but it should be better if hostel facility is there. I did good projects & already published papers in Springer. Many friends are given the opportunity to do internship in IIT, ISI, BARC etc The Gender ratio is good almost if there are 100 boys then there are 60 girls.workshop is very fine. There is no problem regarding genders or religion or race. The course curriculum is very good. Here B tech course and M-tech course facility are available. Our college is affiliated to college maulana Abul Kalam Azad west Bengal university of technology. Here major departments are electrical, computer science, information technology, applied branch. The senior students are very much helpful and are really helping junior students.but some of the seniors are also interested in ragging but that also on very low level. You can neglect it. Alumni network is very good and helpful.

From the start, let me tell you what this college doesn't have. No uniform (you may be asked to wear formal shirts in your first sem until fresher's, but absolutely nothing otherwise). No bullshit about attendance - come and go as you please- but it is your OWN responsibility to keep your attendance to a decent level, and your own problems if it is not. There's little to no politics going on, so if you're worried about that, don't be. Same with ragging - almost no serious ragging occurs; you might be asked to give "intros" and all that but the seniors are overall extremely helpful. The fact that the college treats you like an actual adult is one of my favourite things about it. Now, the college has had its issues with placement lately. The jury is, frankly, still out as to whether it's mostly the college's fault or the students' fault, but there is no denying that the college could do better. However, in today's day and age, relying on any college for placement is dodgy at best. The college has no hostel. The PGs nearby are fairly decent. Do be warned that the neighbourhood is shady at night. Our professors are mostly pretty good, but for the first couple of years you might get somewhat mediocre teachers. But from third year onwards, the teachers are great. Particularly Amrita ma'am (Physics) is one of the best teachers I've ever had. However, the Mechanical department is uniformly terrible so be mentally prepared for that. It's only in your first year anyway. As it's a government funded college, it's very affordable. It also has various freeships for low income families. Overall, definitely one of the better colleges in Kolkata, at least for CSE.

The college is nice with an Ok campus. The new Campus is also cool. The canteen has most of the non-veg items. So if u are a vegetarian u need to have depended on ur tiffins. Faculty is good the crowd is mainly Bihari speaking and provides lot of entertainment!!But when it comes to eating money?? No one is behind them specially, I would like to mention hereafter the name of deputy registrar. My friend had a rank near 18800 and had filled a spot round application for IT. As of now People having ranks, 42k are studying at the college while he's not here. On asking They say wait we will call. And on asking they say we have no management quota!!.So I am pretty sure in the second year also they would cheat us on lots of unknown things!! So If u have a better option plz go for it!!

It has a good placement record so no need to worry about this. besides this, the tuition fee is less as it was a part of JU university previously. Some parts of the college are yet under construction. Regular classes are taken by experienced faculty members of this college.

RCC Institute of Information Technology is very good engineering college in Kolkata. The infrastructure and environment in this college are superb. There are top most experienced faculties in each and every department. Among the total five departments, ECE, CSE and IT are especially good as we expected. The library section is also good for its stock of different books and other articles. Students are given all departmental books before each semester from book bank. I think our college gives us the opportunity to fulfill our extracurricular activities. Every year there have many events like Tech fest (Robotics,) Games, Freshers event (to welcome our 1st-year students), Cultural fest etc. Many students participate there in expressing their own talent. RCCIIT presents many workshops, seminars in a various matter in every department. College Is maintaining a good placement record since 2006. Every year, the famous companies like TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Ericsson are come to recruit engineers at on campusing. College gives us more opportunities for off-campus interviews also. Moreover, I appreciate that, compare to other engineering colleges, RCCIIT is one of the best from all sides that we needed.

This college is an option in West Bengal for engineering students, especially for CSE, IT and ECE students. In terms of placement, CSE department is excellent, in comparison to other departments. But, its playground is not so big to play outdoor games. Faculty are average.
