I think RNS institute of technology is better than RV institute of technology. As, it has an NAAC grade of A whereas RV institute has a grade of B. The campus and social life along with the infrastructure is also better at RNS institute.

I guess according to the information which I have about both the colleges, you should go for NMIT for CSE as it has more skillful professors and also very helpful. The placement percentage for CSE branch at NMIT is also around 100%.The highest package offered till date is 18lpa
