Its a no brainer, the comparison is unfair.
LPU works in a different scale of operations while Shivalik is a affiliated college with almost no control over curriculum.
A university has rights to be dynamic in its curriculum while a college is dependent on its university for any small change in the curriculum, this leaves the affiliated colleges far behind with obsolete syllabus and technologies.
LPUs placement track record is unmatched even by the other large private universities let alone the colleges. Over 700 companies visit the campus for recruitment placing thousands of students on the remuneration which can make anyone envious !
700 + companies
900+ placement drives
500+ companies for internships
700+ PhD faculty
200 plus international university tie ups
42 LPA highest package at Microsoft
96% plus placement record
70+ companies offering 10 LPA plus
20+ companies offering 20LPA plus
100 companies out of fortune 500 club !
And many many more credentials which are so far unmatched in the education world !
If Shivalik can beat het.... go for it, otherwise you have a easy choice here.

The only good and high paying jobs are that of civil/engineering services job in agriculture ministry or as professor/researcher on agricultural science. Hence college may not have much importance. Shivalik College of Engineering is definitely a good choice. Here are links to both for more information:

Hey Bikash!
You can look up for it in the counselling lists. If you're category is mentioned and you fullfil the criterias then you can surely get a seat!
Hello Aspirant,
Most of the colleges take admission in second year as lateral entry program and it has it's own criterias like if you want a seat in a particular branch in new college then your score should be greater than the cutoff score of the last counselling score for the previous year alongwith it some colleges also require some minimum cgpa or percentage in 1 and 2 semester.
Hope it helps
Hello Param,
The PCM aggregate is no longer considered in the likes of JOSAA, so that won't help you in any case in getting CSE through JOSAA counseling.
With your JEE rank, the best government where you can get CSE are IIITs except Hyderabad and Bangalore. They provide IT which is similar to CSE and also you have the option to opt for 5 year integrated courses of BTech in IT + MBA.
Best of luck.
HEY buddy, total marks in 12th have no use here.
Your cutoff speaks here.
cutoff is calculated based on phy, che and maths marks.
You can get the colleges like MIT chennai CSE, Thiagarajar college, CSIR karaikudi, Alagappa karaikudi only when you have higher cutoff's above 190-200.
For more details regarding colleges you get based upon your cutoff refer
