You can justify by above works for your gap, however the interviewer may still ask why you did not go for a full time job in a firm. So be prepared for that. Apart from this focus primarily on your cat preparation

To get admission in top IIM's you need more than 99.5 percentile and otherwise try to score above 96 percentile.

Also it depends upon your past academic background as well.
