Hello Aspirant,

See it is quite difficult to tell you an exact figure of your CRL rank because it keeps on changing every year depending upon various factors but yes we can help you with approximate figures on the basis of analysis of previous year's data.

So If we go through the analysis of Percentile Vs CRL rank for JEE-Main 2021 then according to the percentile mentioned by you in the question your CRL rank is expected to be in the range of 53196 - 59800 .

Note that the ranks which are predicted are only the expected ranks on the basis of previous year's data so your actual ranks might vary depending upon current factors.

Based on such rank you have some chances for CSE in DELHI TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY because the closing CRL rank in 2021 was around 50k in Round 4 of JAC counselling for Delhi candidates and for Outside Delhi candidates, it was around 8.5k for OBC category.

You can check out previous year's cut-off from the official website given below :-

DTU R4 cutoff.pdf (careers360.mobi)

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

On such percentile, if you are a General candidate then you have very less or almost no chances to qualify for JEE-Advance 2022 but still the cutoffs for this year have not released yet officially.

As the cut-offs are released along with the JEE-Main 2022 result so for now you can get an idea from JEE-Main 2021 qualifying cut-offs that are enlisted below :-

==>> Common Rank List (CRL) - 87.8992241-100.0000000 Percentile

==>> GEN-EWS - 66.2214845-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 68.0234447-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Scheduled Caste (SC) - 46.8825338-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 34.6728999 87.8474721 Percentile

==>> PwD - 0.0096375-87.8273359 Percentile

Note that in above table it is not the actual cut-off for JEE-Main 2022 but previous year's cut-off.

You can check out previous year's cut-off trends from the link given below :-

Hello Suresh,

Congratulations for your result. It is quite difficult to predict the exact rank as the trends changes every year because it depends on many factors like number of students appeared, shift, toughness, etc.

But we can predict your result based on the previous trends. With 79 percentile your CRL-AIR will be around 214830 - 241500 and your SC rank will be around 13778 - 1577. You can verify your rank by using our rank predictor tool which is given below:

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

Thus, with 79 percentile, you won't be able to get CSE in DTU as per previous year trends. For more information you can check this in the link given below:

Hello Annu,

In order to predict whether you can get DTU or not first we need to calculate the exact rank.It is quite difficult to predict the exact rank as the trends changes every year because it depends on many factors like number of students appeared, shift, toughness, etc.

But still we can predict your result based on the previous trends. With 51.61 percentile your CRL-AIR will be around 495030 - 556485. You can verify your rank by using our rank predictor tool which is given below:

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

In order to get a CSE seat in DTU, you need to score at 93+ percentile as per past year trends in general category.

Thus, with 51.61 percentile, you can not get DTU anyhow.

Hello,

As you mentioned you are eligible to take admission in DTU , NSUT and more colleges i would suggest you to not take drop and give it in 2023 because these are very good colleges which you are getting .

You can give jee mains 3 years consecutively . So if this is your 1st attempt you can give it in 2023 and 2024. For JAC counselling you can also participate in that.

Yes definitely! You have very high chances of getting Delhi Technological University in the rank that you have mentioned. Some of the branches that you might get are:

Engineering Physics
Biotechnology
Civil Engineering

You can also use our college predictor to see your chances in all the colleges:

Hope I have answered your question. All the best!

Dear aspirant,

We can't exactly predict the situation as it depends on the number of candidates attempting the exam, the preferences of the students etc.

Looking at the previous year trends, we can say that you have a decent chance of getting a general rank of about 1 L .

Last year the cut-off for OBC-NCL category outside Delhi in CSE for NSIT has been 7.2 k and Delhi region has been 35 K

DTU - Outside Delhi 9k inside Delhi has been 50 k

Looking at these trends, we can say that it is quite difficult for you to get CSE in these institutions.

If you belong to the Delhi category, you have a good chance of getting ECE, Electrical, Mechanical engineering and Biotechnology (NSUT only) in DTU and NSUT .

For more information, please use the college predictor given below.

Dear aspirant,

We can't exactly predict the cut-off as it varies based on number of students attempting the exam, the preferences of the students etc.

CSE is one of the most preferred branches and hence is very competitive.

Looking at the previous year trends we can say that you have a good chance of getting a rank around 10k.

It is quite difficult to get college of your interest with this rank.

The cutoff for outside Delhi general candidates have been 2.4 k for DTU and 2 k for NSUT, Delhi. For getting this rank you'll generally need a percentile of above 99.75 .

If you are  a Delhi candidate you can get seat with rank up to 5 K in NSUT and 8 K in DTU. For getting this rank you'll need a percentile between 99.3 - 99.5.

Hence, we can say that you have a small chance of getting DTU if you are a Delhi candidate.

For, knowing more about your chances, please check the college predictor link.

Hope this helps.
