If your parents have the OBC category certificate and you also have it then there is no problem at all and you will get a seat on the basis of your category certificate. You must have it at the time of document verification. I hope this was helpful.

Although parents certificate are not asked for only the certificate of student is asked .

Yes , there are fair chances if you secured 45k all india rank in jee mains. You will easily clear the cut off and achieve the branch what you want.

Certain conditions govern cut offs such as choices filled by the candidates, number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

Admission in DTU and NSUT is done through JAC counselling. The admission is based on All India Rank secured in JEE Main. Considering the previous year cut off in JAC ROUND 4 counselling you have chances to get seat in NSUT in CSDA the cut off was 107997 (AIR) for OBC candidate (Delhi). You do not have chances to get seat in the other preferred course due to low cut off. Also here is the list of courses in which you have chances to get seat other than preferred course

The above mentioned cut off ranks are the All India Rank secured in JEE Main. To get seat in DTU you need to secure AIR within 20000 if you are outside Delhi region. If you are from Delhi region then you need to secured AIR within 90000. With the above mentioned percentile in GENERAL Category in JEE mains, your overall predicted rank will be around 126852 - 142600 . Now looking at the previous year JEE mains Cutoff, you have very difficult chances of getting any NIT or IIIT as the minimum required cutoff for general category students to get good NIT's is around 97-99 percentile.

You also have difficult chances of getting admission in DTU or NSUT as the previous year Cutoff for these colleges is around 95+ percentile.

So, what I may suggest you that you can take admission in most of the private colleges that take admission on the basis of the JEE mains score.

No , you cannot get cse in DTU in this rank even if i consider your EWS rank because the cut offs are higher. Even if i consider you as EWS category it is not possible for you to get any branch in DTU.

Maybe you can get lower branches like Biotechnology but I don't think you would consider so i would request you to look for other colleges .

It is quite hard to predict the exact situation as it depends on the number of students attempting the exam, the preparation level of the students and the and the preference of the students.

Looking at the previous year trends we can say that you have a good chance of getting a rank of about 1.5 L.

Rank versus percentile

With this rank it is quite difficult to get CSE in NSUT, IIITD or DTU

If you belong to the Delhi region you have a good chance of getting Biotechnology, electrical engineering, instrumentation in NSUT. If you don't belong to the Delhi region it is quite difficult to get into these colleges.
