You don't have to worry if your allotted seat was cancelled due to not meeting some certain category, you still are eligible for further rounds of counseling but as a unreserved or general candidate. So you if your rank is good enough to get a seat through general category, then there shouldn't be any problem.

Delhi Technological University is a government University. Admission in this take place through jac counselling on the basis of JEE mains rank. The DTU mechanical engineering offers serval work such as Minor in productive engineering, Automative engineering, Energy Technology, Operation and supply chain management, design and automation engineering. Students get real work experience.

The placement statistics shown by DTU is very good. Over 300+ companies visit here with good offers. Average package offered was Rs. 11.17 lakh in 2018-2019. And highest package was Rs. 1.2 crore.

DTU is one of the best college both in terms of placement and education. If you have been allotted a seat in jac counselling then you have three options in submit willingness options-

• Freeze- if you have accepted allotted seat and don't want to participate in next round.
• Float- if you are satisfied with the seat but want to participate in next round. In this case , previously allotted seat may get out of your hand.
• Slide- if you want to accept that seat and want any updation in branch of the same institute. You will not loss your previously allotted branch.

If you will keep slide option, you will not loss your chemical branch.

Dear aspirant!

DTU is one of the best college for engineering. Admission in it for Bteçh and barch programme is done through JAC delhi counselling.

One B.tech seat is reserved in DTU for single girl child i.e. a girl having no other brother or sister except the twin sister. Apart from normal intake , a seat is reserved for them . But that girl should belong to Delhi i.e. should have passed 12 th from Delhi.

The merit list shall be drawn on the basis of best of four subjects (including Maths). You have scored a good percentage in class 12th and considering your category too, you can get admission in DTU.

Dear aspirant !

For admission in DTU, NSUT, IGDTUW, IIIT delhi you have to register for jac counselling. If you belong to delhi region and ews category then there are chances that you can get into these colleges. Getting it or ece will be a little bit difficult if cutoff increase ,however you can get Mechanical engineering, MAM , EE ,etc. You can also apply for IGDTUW which is a girls college ,it is also a government college you can easily get it and ece in it.

Hello, you can select any institute between the two you have suggested. Both of them are well reputed and well known. You can select based on your preference of course. Btech Biotechnology will be based on biology related subjects while the Btech in chemical is related towards the chemical engineering.All the best.

Both the institutes are very good with great placements. But in my opinion you must go for cse in nit Trichy as this is the best NIT in India and is ahead of many IITs as well. The NIRF ranking of NIT Trichy is 9 and that of DTU is 36.

Average CTC of DTU is 10 lpa with 80% placement whereas that of NIT Trichy is 14 to 16 lakhs and highest being 42 lakhs with more than 90% placements every year.

But choose according to your needs, where you will be comfortable according to your native place. But, I would recommend explore the world, don't restrict yourself to your native place.

This mostly depends on which college are you currently in, if dtu is better than your previous college then must go for it. However as far as i know dtu has a great brand value of its name in Delhi. You will have a great college life there. Atlast, it is your personal decision.

The choice of college depends on your interest, if you are interested in B.Tech, then you should obviously opt for DTU whereas if you are interested in pure science or arts courses like B.Sc Or B.A. you should opt for DU.

Since B.Tech can give you a direct job after your 4 year course,  you should opt for B.Tech from DTU.

Because DTU has a very huge campus and a good social life.

So at the end, i will suggest you to go for DTU.
