All the best!

Dear aspirant!

Admission in DTU takes place through JAC delhi counselling . First you have to do fresh registration. If you have done registration in first round only, then if you have been allotted a seat, then you have to pay seat acceptance fees and then submit willingness as float to participate in second round else, freeze if you want to accept the allotted seat and don't want any upgradation.

Second case is that if you are not alloted any seat, then you will be directed to the second round directly.

All the best!

Hello aspirant

LSR BA(hons) Political Science  is the better option over DTU Mechanical engineering for a civil service aspirant as you can choose Political science(PSIR) as your optional and it is a very scoring subject in comparison to Mechanical engineering as optional also political science as a subject will help you in GS as well as prelims whereas mechanical engineering wont. You will find so many aspirants in your class and well as in your college as DU is hub for civil services aspirants .

Hope this helps.

Hello Aspirant

You should go for DTU EE as DTU is known for it's core branches. On top of that you would have plenty of time to get involved in extra curricular activities and you can also focus on coding if you want to, whereas in NSUT the work load is comparatively more.

Now coming to the upgradation part so after JAC counselling the upgradation of branch happens at the end of 2nd semester which is totally based upon your JEE Rank, your 1st year score doesn't matter.

Hope this helps.

Hello Student. I hope you are doing great.

Doing Eco hons from delhi university would be a more appropiate decision because of the campus life, infrastructure, faculty, socities, overall development and Ranked  Education. Some off campus top colleges are DCAC,Deen Dayal,Shaheed Bhagat Singh College of Business Studies and many more. DTU no doubt is a good college but mainly for engineering and Technology..

Dear aspirant,

As you are general delhi candidate let me tell you its difficult to get into nsut but you may have chances for dtu in the ece branch but let me tell you that even if you will not get ece then surely you will get electronics branch .

Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

First of all i would advice you not to take partial drop as it is both waste of money and energy the same energy which you should put in preparation of jee you would put in-in the college studies as well which is not a great idea but if you have decided to do so then all the 3 institutes mentioned by you would be on the same page as far as effort is concerned you will have to work towards college study also in order to pass their exam(end semester) ,if you have to choose anyhow then go with NIT as it caries tag also if you could not perform well in second attempt as well then you will have nothing to loose also you meet brilliant minds of the country n nits hence you develop hardwork and consistency just by watching you peers doing so.

Dear aspirant !

If your rank is so good that you can get admission in any of these branches, then I will suggest you the given order-

1. SE      2. IT.   3. ECE.  4 .MCE

You can change it as per your preference. However you can expertise in coding with any of these branches. When your placement season will come ,you will be allow to take part in coding rounds and get into a good tech company.

All the best !
