Hello aspirant
hope you are doing well and safe. With reference to your query, I would glad inform you that always choose college over branch as in the end student of all stream get same opportunities for placements , so if you do hardwork then you can job in product based company from any stream, so DTU is top tier-1 college which comes after 7IITs, so without thinking much go for DTU
Hope you found this answer informative. Best wishes for your future
Dear candidate both NIT Calicut and Delhi Technologocal University are indeed good options to pursue your higher studies. But in details if you want to analyse DTU is a better option. This College has extremely good infrastructure, bunch of good student friendly faculties who would guide you to reach your career goals successfully. Now if you consider placements, almost 90% of the students receive placements that too with salary packages 10-12 LPA. All the facilities like library, hostels, labs will satisfy your expectations.

Good luck!!
Hello,
You can easily get both of the colleges as you have scored very good marks.I will suggest you to choose DTU over NSIT if you want to do CSE due to high placement records of DTU.
Good luck.
DTU or Delhi Technological University and NSUT or Netaji Subhash University of Technology, Delhi are state funded technological institutes situated in the state of Delhi. Earlier both of the institutes were affiliated to Delhi University but later on both the institutes were converted to respective universities and were given the autonomous status.
Now coming to you question, comparing the two institutes will be a tough thing as the competition is really good both the institutes. The number of brilliant students received by both the colleges is increasing year by year.
So, comparing the colleges:
Infrastructure : DTU has a far more better infrastructure than NSIT. It has AC classrooms and the campus are is also bigger than NSUT.
Faculty : The faculty at both the colleges is amazing. I'll say that depends on branch to branch. The most important thing to note in a college the environment it offers. As per my research both the colleges offer an amazing environment in terms of clubs and extra-curricular activities. You can learn a lot of things even if you're not in that branch. For example : Non- computer science majors can learn a lot of coding and practice from the technical clubs and societies available in the college.
Placements : The highest package of DTU for the session 2019-20 was 1.02 crore, nearly all the students who sat for placements got placed. The average package was 11.7 lakhs. For NSUT, the highest package was 1.42 crores, here also all students got placed who sat for placements. The average package here was 7.75 lakhs per annum.
Now, talking about which one is better is really hard to say since both the institutes excel in their quality of students. But I personally think that DTU is better than NSUT.
Hope it helps.

Hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck for your future

Hi,
Both are among top Institutes in India. IT and CSE branch has similar course structure differing in few subjects only. The average package of NIT Surathkal is 10.8 Lakh while for DTU the average package is 7.2 Lakh. Also NIT Surathkal has NIRF Ranking of 13th while DTU has NIRF Ranking of 36 in Engineering Section . Based on these factors, NIT Surathkal seems to be better choice than DTU- CSE.
