Hello,

Based on the previous year cut off in JAC Round 9 counselling you have chances  of getting seat in the following branches in the preferred institutes under OBC-NCL (outside Delhi)

DTU

  • Environmental Engineering: 66612
  • Bio-Technology: 68786

NSUT

  • Manufacturing Processes and Automation Engineering: 64511
  • Mechanical Engineering: 64133
  • Bio-Technology: 76432

Considering the previous year cut off you do not have chances to get seat in IIIT, Delhi. Also you do not have chances to get seat in core branches in DTU. The cut off changes every year depending on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.

Dear Aspirant ,

Yes. According to your JEE MAIN rank and caste category, you have high chances to get admission in DTU and NSUT , but in NSUT .. you can easily may get your desired branch( i.e. CS/IT ) whereas in DTU .. you can get admission with the following branches in B.Tech listed below as per previous year cut off trends :(Under Home state quota and after assuming your rank as All India Rank)

  • Mechanical
  • Electrical

But, you should know that DTU/NSUT accepts only All India rank/Common rank list ( for home state or outside home state) for admission .

Well, you need to remember that every  year's cutoff of JEE MAIN depends on some following factors :

  • No of Students appeared for exam
  • Seat Matrix
  • Difficulty level  of exam

you can also use this JEE MAIN college predictor link  for your reference and to know your confirmation of chances of getting admission in your desired college/colleges with your preferred branches  :

Hope this helps !

best wishes !!

Hii Aspirant,

If your home state is Delhi then you will get CS in DTU. If your home state isn't Delhi then you have a good chance of getting into DTU in CS branch. You can apply for JAC councilling , even if you don't get it in first round then wait for further rounds as you have very high chances of getting it. For previous years cut offs you can go through

http://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-mains-cutoff

And to see what colleges you can get in Delhi you can go through

Hope my answer helps

Hey.

If you are from outside Delhi than it will be little difficult for you to get admission in good branch like CSE, SE IT MCE ECE ME etc. But you will be able to get other branches like PIE PCT EP ENE biotech etc.

But if you are from Delhi the you will get branch civil engineering, mechanical engineering, mathematics and computation engineering, electrical engineering, electrical and communication engineering.

Thank you

Hello Aspirant! If you are interested in research, innovation, and higher studies, IIIT Delhi is definitely a better choice among the three. But if you are interested in placement, infrastructure, and college life, should prefer NSIT or DTU for an engineering degree. In IIIT Delhi, every company visiting the campus for placement allows CSE, CSAM, and ECE branches and almost 75% of them allow CSD, CSB, and CSSS. Although there is a downfall in placement percentage at DTU and NSIT due to the COVID pandemic, they are still in a better position than IIIT Delhi. DTU and NSIT are known for their great placement opportunities (NSIT slightly over DTU). Its not that placements are low at IIITD but less as compared to the other two (DTU and NSIT). So, at last if you're interested in research, and want a good depth knowledge in your subject then go for IIIT Delhi or else DTU is far better than any other college.
Hope this helps.
