You haven't mentioned your home state. Considering the previous cut off you do not have chances to get seat in DTU or NSUT if you are outside Delhi. If the state where the SC community of the migrating people, then things will go simple and the person migrating will be eligible for reservation benefits.

Considering the previous year cut off you do not have chances to get seat in NIT with such rank. You need to secure a rank (category) under 7,000 in order to get admission in NIT.

Admission in to DTU is done through JAC counselling. And the CRL rank is considered for seat allotment. You haven't mentioned your CRL. So mention the CRL so that we can provide you relevant information.

DTU cut off rank for 1st round counceling is 22417. With this rank you can get all the branches like ECE, ME, CE, CSE.

So please wait for the 2nd or 3rd round counceling. Then you can the branches like ME or CE. But it is difficult to get the CSE or ECE branchs.

Closing CRL rank for EWS candidate for DTU and NSUT was :-

• Computer Science Engineering branch - 24464 for NSUT (Home state quota)
• Computer Science Engineering branch - 24711 for DTU (Home state quota)

So you have VERY LOW or almost no chances to get any of the mentioned college with CSE even if you have Home state quota.

As you have mentioned that you have secured 1.8L rank and taking into consideration that your category rank is 9k. So let me tell you that it's not possible to crack DTU in this rank considering your home state is not delhi. Even if your home state is delhi it is very difficult to grab the lowest branch.

So kindly keep a backup option.

as you mentioned that you belong to sc category and your sc category jee main rank is 53785 . which is not good rank

i will suggest you to give next attempt with more effort . so that you will able to get a good marks

and then go for counselling and then you able to get good colleges
