Hello Aspirant. You mentioned you belong to SC category, your home state is Andhra Pradesh and you want to get admission at Delhi Technological University.

Well, before coming to the answer, I would like to inform that DTU intakes applicants via Joint Admission Counselling (JAC), New Delhi. The merit list for JAC is generally prepared on the basis of JEE Main - Common Rank List. Now, if candidates have Category Rank then they can get seats on the basis of the category rank, if the college offers any category quota. For instance. if one candidate has secured around 1 Lakh CRL but is also having around 15000 Category Rank, he/she will not get DTU with CRL but can get DTU with Category Rank.

In 2020-21, JEE Main Cutoff CRL-Rank for SC category for admission to Computer Engineering was AIR 28845 (Round 1) and AIR 37156 (Round 2) . Hence, you  have low chance to get admission to Computer Engineering based on your rank obtained.

However, based on your performance, you may get chance at Engineering Physics; Electrical Engineering ; Mechanical Engineering; Civil Engineering; Chemical Engineering etc.

To know more about cutoff trends in DTU via JAC based on previous years' data, refer to this article:

Hello,

Admission in to Delhi Technological University is based on merit in JEE Main and All India Rank is considered for admission. In 2020 a candidate belonging to EWS category (Delhi region) with CRL 24711 secured admission to Computer Engineering in Delhi Technological University. And the cut off for EWS (Outside Delhi region) category is 11691 for the same in round 9 of the counselling.
