Out of the two options that you chose, first let us focus on Delhi Technologocal University where IT curriculum is nicely taught, the companies offer jobs with salary packages 9-12 LPA. This college has experienced faculties, great infrastructure. Next comes NSUT is also a very good college and placements records are same as DTU. But the college life is somewhat strict yet amazing. But the stream core IT is better than ITNS in terms of placements.

As you have mentioned that you have got 53k rank in JEE mains and taking into consideration you are aiming to take admission through delhi counselling jac.
As the college mentioned by you let me tell you that the cut off stays very higher even for the Delhi candidates claiming the state quota.
You may hope for biotechnology but I would recommend to go for other colleges.

Yes you have the chances to get a seat on NITs. Your category rank helps you to get a good branch. Not in top NITs but lower and good NITs gives you that opportunities . In some government and autonomous colleges also you have the chances.
In Panjab , Hyderabad,haryana city you have the options .
Apart from all these you can for private colleges.

There is a high chance that you can get DTU Delhi with this rank as you have the domicile of Delhi.
As you can see this much variation in the rank but according to the previous year you may get the engineering physics, but you should participate in the counselling and there is high chance that you may get.

Delhi Technological University and Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology both are very good engineering colleges located in Delhi. IIT's are better in term of great placements, infrastructure and research facilities. But is quite expensive compared to DTU.
