Hello Dear,
As per the percentile mentioned by you in Feb shift your General rank between 5003 - 3932. On percentile between 97.45 your General rank between 115045 - 85657. Your EWS category rank will be little less. There is a very fair chance you can get any NIT/IIIT and DTU college. You can try out for NIT in your home state where you will get your desired branch.

You have not mentioned your home state. If you are from outside Delhi then you do not have chances of getting seat in Delhi Technological University considering the previous year cut off rank and the expected overall rank. However, if you belong to Delhi then you have chances of getting seat in the following branch in DTU under OBC category
The cut off mentioned is previous year cut off in round 5. Cut off changes every year depending on number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of exam and number of seats available etc.
To know the colleges in which you may get seat you can use our JEE Main college predictor

Dear student,
Both of these institutes are very good with it's previous records in the field of engineering. These are having a very well infrastructure. But in the field of placement NSUT can beat DTU. Although the difference is not too much but you can not neglect it. The faculties are also very good and they will make you ready for the university. The campus life is better in DTU so now it's your choice which you need most.
thank you.
Dear Aspirant,
as per the cutoff for the previous years given below are some of the IIITs where you are eligible to get admission,
If you would like to know further details on other colleges suited for you kindly visit the link given below.
Hello,
Yes, you can definitely get a hostel at DTU. You just need to pay for hostel fees, that's all. However, it depends on the number of beds available. Students coming from far off cities are given priority. Although, I would say, you don't need to worry at all, talk to the hostel authorities and request them, they will be able to arrange it for you.
Hi,
Almost all of the engineering courses already have basic level of programming languages like C and C++ as a part of their syllabus and DTU is no exception for this and B.Tech ECE does inlude a basic programming fundamental course. Apart from this if you want to go for higher level of programming you can opt for several online courses that are free of cost.
For B.Tech ECE syllabus for DTU you can refer to this link:http://dtu.ac.in/Web/Academics/syllabus/schemes/Electronics%20and%20Communication%20Engineering%20(EC)_21.03.18.pdf
I hope this helped you.
Hello Dear,
The best branches other than CSE or IT in DTU are mechanical, electronics and communication, civil and electrical engineering. To be precise ECE is better than CSE only relying on the condition that your're not a good programmer. CSE course will be easy throughout your 4 years but ECE will be little tough. Any branch that is integrated with electronics is named as an evergreen branch of engineering. ECE, the placement rate is around 95%, and the average salary package offered was 13 LPA. The highest salary package offered in our branch was 49 LPA. The placement cell here is very good, supportive and helpful. If you are looking for good placements, then this college is for you.
Good Luck
hello srahulgupta2002
I hope you are doing good. I would like to know you that dtu was upgraded to state university from central university in recent years. From that time onwards for taking admission in dtu one should caste certifcicate issued from state only for taking the benefits of reservation and it should be made by yours father's caste certificate.
Hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck for your future
Hello,
I would suggest you Jamia Millia Islamia University over DTU (Delhi Technical University). According to NIRF (National Institute Ranking Framework), Jamia Millia Islamia University rank is 28 and NIRF score is 54.58. Coming to DTU, NIRF ranking of DTU is 36 and its NIRF score is 51.99. You can fully rely on the rankings of NIRF. Admission is both JMI University and DTU will be done on the basis on the Rank obtained in JEE MAINS.
Though placement in both the Universities is quite impressive. Both the Universities are visiting by top brands like Samsung, Wipro, Oyo etc. But in DTU average package is offered a little bit higher than JMI UNIVERSITY, but its not the same for every year.
