However , you can easily grab good placements if you doing from tier-1 college Like dtu . Placements of civil are very decent in dtu , the median of civil students went around 7.5 lakhs last year and more than half of the class was placed very soon . Moroever you have also options to go for it placements if you have interest in computer science

Hello,
Admission in to Delhi Technological University is based on All India Rank of the candidate. In 2020 round 5 the cut off for OBC category was as follows for admission in to Computer Engineering in DTU
Considering the cut off you need to secure a rank a rank below 11,000 if you belong to Delhi and if you are outside Delhi then you need to secure a rank below 3000 as cut off changes every year depending on number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of exam and number of seats available etc. You need to score minimum 190-210 marks to get such rank.

hello Anand kumar
I hope you are doing good . I will glad to aware you that at your percentile your estimated rank would be around 235290 - 264500 . At this rank you holds very low chances of getting admission in any nits and for dtu it is big no . For these top tier-1 colleges you rank should be atleast below 10000 for getting good nits with core branch . I suggest you not to wait for counselling and start preparing for next attempt with full dedication and following a proper road map

I hope you are doing good. I would like to know you that placements are almost same in nsit and dtu in civil stream . The highest package went around 18 lakhs for civil in dtu and its varies around 2-3 lakhs every year depending on the batch . The average of civil stream is around 7.5 to 8 lakhs . Almost 95 percent students get placed every year as it is tier 1 college and rest remaining either look for off campus placement and go for higher studies

Hello aspirant,
The students who have been admitted in the University under Outside Delhi category, but residing in Delhi, NCR will be considered as Delhi Category student for the purpose of hostel allotment. f. If seats are available, the next preference will be given to Delhi Category students residing more than 35 km.
you need to pay for the hostel that's all. ... do not worry, talk to the hostel authorities and request them.
Thankyou
Dear aspirants,
It would be much better if you could contact the dtu officials or any staff for the hostel admission (if you are in delhi) because they would be able to make you understand the procedures in a much more detailed manner rather than me..
