With this rank normally you will get metallurgy.
And in defense category there is chance of getting core branches but that depends on availability of seats.

According to WBJEE 2018 Eligibility criteria:
General category candidates should have secured an aggregate of 45% and reserved category candidates should have scored 40% in PCM in class 12th board exams.

your GMR rank is not applicable for Jadavpur university.with this rank you can't get any branch.but you can get other colleges like:
Narula Institute, Techno India University, Heritage Institute of technology, Jalpaiguri Govt. college, university institute of technology Burdwan etc.

College Infrastructure

Considering its reputation and ranking the infrastructure is poor. Few toilets are unusable. We don't really have any kind of sanitary machines, not even a medical shop in university campus (fyi we have a whole sbi bank in the campus).

One of the Best College in India.

College Infrastructure

The University is built on fifty to sixty acres land. In our physics department we have three buildings one is for undergraduate and the other is for post graduate and another one is for both undergraduate and post graduate.We have labs for students of both undergraduate and post graduate that include Optics lab mechanical lab and electronics lab. Our department also has a canteen. We have a library for physics department that contains variety of books like Mathematics books, physics books, and a few collection of computer science books.
