Hello,
Considering you as an engineering aspirant let me tell you that to get into jadhavpur university you need to give the state level entrance examination conducted by the WBJEEB. The name of the examination is WBJEE.
Now to clear the cut off in jadavpur university you need a rank of atleast under 600-700 if you are from other states which is very unfair and for the candidates who are from West bengal state they need to get atleast under 2k rank to get lowest branch in this college.
Hi dear,
As per your profile, you belong to West Bengal domicile. Based on that I'm considering that you have Home State Quota and providing information based on it.
Based on previous year's cut-offs, it is difficult to get B. Pharmacy seat in Jadavpur University, Kolkata for your WBJEE rank. Cut-offs varies from year to year.
Cut-offs depends on many factors like number of seats available, caste category, number of students appeared in the exam, difficulty level of the exam etc.

So, with regard of you're query. The university of Jadavpur, is only considering the WBJEE rank to get admissions into it. so, one who did not appeared in the WBJEE, he/she can't get a admission into it through management or any paid process, because, it is being a govt college.

Hello
You should attempt the WBJEE if you want a place at Jadavpur University. and must get a rank below 1000. You must have an overall grade point average in math, physics, and chemistry of at least 60 percent (or 45 percent for students in the restricted category) to be eligible for admission to Jadavpur University. Best wishes and good luck to you.
Thanks
A bit underwhelming due to inadequate funding. Basic labs found in first year are not upto the mark. However when it comes to equipments, toh would probably all of them except half of them are obsolete from industry pov.
The Jadavpur University has quite old buildings. But, it has a central library with separate libraries in each department. It has 4-5 canteens at different points in the campus. It also has an Open air theatre, A gym, and a basketball court adjacent to the main ground.
The university still uses alot of buildings that are way too old and they are maintained very rarely. But, few new buildings have been built recently which is a good thing. There is a lack of adequate labs for example in my department (Economics) there is no sufficient facility. There is also lack of ACs in the classrooms.
