Hello
B Pharmacy is a 4 year undergraduate course which deals with the structure and therapeutic uses of drugs
As we all know pharmacy is not a related with maths.
So for taking admission in jadavpur university for pharmacy maths is not compulsory .you can take admission with PCB subjects.
If you are taking admission in bpharm then in your 1st sem you will get remedial maths as a subject because you don't have maths in 12th . So you get some idea about maths numerical which you can apply in in pharmacy subjects like pharmaceutics and cology.
I hope this helps you
Try to score minimum 150 .

Hello Aspirant,
See for counselling only your CRL or General rank is considered not category rank so kindly help us with that so that we can predict your admission chances in aforementioned college.
However based on previous year's cut-off you should have your general rank under 800 then you would be having good chances for CSE. in Jadavpur University being an OBC-A candidate.
You cn check out previous year's cut-off from the link given below :-
https://admissions.nic.in/WBJEEB2021/WBJEEB/Report/OpenCloseRank.aspx?boardId=134112121
Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

Hi
What is your GMR i. e general rank?
In wbjee all the seats are alloted on the basis of GMR rank and not your category rank.
Anyway,
This is very difficult to predict because cut off keeps changing every year depending upon a number of factors like
--------------------------------) number of students that appeared in the WBJEE exam
--------------------------------)difficulty level of the WBJEE examination
--------------------------------)Kind of marks obtained by the students in the WBJEE exam
--------------------------------) number of students from different categories etc
But yes,
For Jadavpur University for computer science your general rank should be at least around 200 general rank being from obc-b category otherwise your chances for the same are low.
For example,
In 2020 , in 3rd round of wbjee, 202 general rank for obc-b category was the closing rank for Jadavpur University for computer science engineering.
As per 2020 3rd round cut off available at Official website :- https://admissions.nic.in/wbjeebcouns2019/wbjeebcouns2019/orcr/PrevYearORCR.aspx

Hello Aspirant,
I hope you are doing well.
Mechanical Engineering at Jadavpur University is one of the few colleges in India where you can hope to work in a Core Mechanical Engineering business after completing your studies. Although the corporation offers a variety of positions, the majority of them are in manufacturing, service, or sales. Companies don't hire freshmen for R&D, but I suppose that's true of practically every college. Automobile and Oil and Gas, Production, and Consultancies are the three fundamental categories into which I would sort the companies.
Automobiles, as well as oil and gas. Automobile firms typically hire people with backgrounds in sales, service, production, or engineering. This group includes Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Hero Motocorp, Rolls Royce, Mercedes Benz, Bajaj Auto, Tractors India Limited, Royal Enfield, HPCP, and BPCL. Although not all of these companies come every year, the majority do.
Companies that are based on production. These businesses employ the greatest number of people from the department. This category includes companies like Linde, Vedanta, Daikin, Honeywell, L&T, Reliance, Haldia Petrochemicals Limited, Tata Metalliks, Crompton Greaves, Cummins, and Wacker chemicals. These businesses may also have a Sales or Service profile, but the majority of them have a Manufacturing profile.
Consultancies. There are two different categories of consultants. This category includes engineering consultants such as M.N.Dastur and EIL, as well as management consultants such as PWC, ZS, Mu Sigma, Capgemini, and others.
Almost 80 people from the department are hired by a major corporation ( Anything non IT is considered core in JU). On the Jadavpur University Placements Facebook page, you may discover thorough information on placements.
I hope this helps.
Good Luck
A bit underwhelming due to inadequate funding. Basic labs found in first year are not upto the mark. However when it comes to equipments, toh would probably all of them except half of them are obsolete from industry pov.
The Jadavpur University has quite old buildings. But, it has a central library with separate libraries in each department. It has 4-5 canteens at different points in the campus. It also has an Open air theatre, A gym, and a basketball court adjacent to the main ground.
The university still uses alot of buildings that are way too old and they are maintained very rarely. But, few new buildings have been built recently which is a good thing. There is a lack of adequate labs for example in my department (Economics) there is no sufficient facility. There is also lack of ACs in the classrooms.
