Admission to MCA, ME/M.Tech. and M.Pharm is done on the basis of marks obtained in different Entrance Tests viz. GATE/WB JECA/GPAT. Registration for academic year 2019-20 on may 4th 2019 and entrance test is on may 23-31 may 2019.

Is it necessary to pass (10+2)exam from West Bengal Board of India???

No for Jadavpur its not. However class 12 must be from a recognized board and you should appear for WBJEE , get high marks as cutoffs are high and apply for admission

To get Admission in Jadavpur University, Kolkata, you can give either of the Exams- JEE Mains,WBJEE.

For JEE Mains- You just need to qualify 12th Class.

Sir my gmr is 8370 but I want to take admission in jadavpur University in any branch so what is percentage?

Hey Sailesh.

For admission in Jadavpur University the cut offs for various branches are different. In 2017 for the general category the highest cut off was a rank ( GMR) of 153 rfor the CSE branch and the lowest cut off was a rank of 3421 for the IT branch.

College Infrastructure

Considering its reputation and ranking the infrastructure is poor. Few toilets are unusable. We don't really have any kind of sanitary machines, not even a medical shop in university campus (fyi we have a whole sbi bank in the campus).

College Infrastructure

The University is built on fifty to sixty acres land. In our physics department we have three buildings one is for undergraduate and the other is for post graduate and another one is for both undergraduate and post graduate.We have labs for students of both undergraduate and post graduate that include Optics lab mechanical lab and electronics lab. Our department also has a canteen. We have a library for physics department that contains variety of books like Mathematics books, physics books, and a few collection of computer science books.
