Admission to Jadavpur university Kolkata has been on basis of Wbjee entrnace exam for Btech Courses.

Based in Wbjee scores students are called for counselling and documentation verification process.

No for Jadavpur its not. However class 12 must be from a recognized board and you should appear for WBJEE , get high marks as cutoffs are high and apply for admission

Admissions under Jadavpur university are based on entrance exam for this course. And for appearing in this entrance exam student have to pass 10+2 with recognised board. 

On the basis of entrance exam result merit list is prepared and admissions are done. And all procedures take place through

Candidates should have passed 10+2 oe equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/ Computer Science as compulsory subjects with at least 60% marks in these three suvjects taken together.

To get Admission in Jadavpur University, Kolkata, you can give either of the Exams- JEE Mains,WBJEE.

For JEE Mains- You just need to qualify 12th Class.

For WBJEE- General category candidates should have secured an aggregate of 45% and reserved category candidates should have scored 40% in the above

For admission in Jadavpur University the cut offs for various branches are different. In 2017 for the general category the highest cut off was a rank ( GMR) of 153 rfor the CSE branch and the lowest cut off was a rank of 3421 for the IT branch.

Im afraid through normal admission means as well chances arent possible 

so for decentralised it will  be much tougher
