BTKIT Dwarahat Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

BTKIT Dwarahat boys hostel facilities provide comfortable accommodation to the outstation students. The hostel rooms are well-ventilated and well-furnished and are equipped with all basic amenities. A separate mess facility is also available.

Bipin Tripathi Kumaon Institute of Technology girls hostel facilities include an uninterrupted supply of water, electricity, furniture, appliances and many more. Free wi-fi and mess facilities are also available.

The health centre provides 24X7 health care facilities to the students, university staff and faculty members. Medical advice and primary treatment are tendered by the Bipin Tripathi Kumaon Institute of Technology medical officers. Emergency medical services during odd hours and on holidays are provided by the nearby community health centre. 24X7 ambulance facility is also operational.

The college has an on-campus State Bank of India, also known as SBIKEC Dwarahat. It provides all modern banking services with a 24X7 ATM facility.

BTKIT Dwarahat cafeteria serves all-time meals to the students and staff members at reasonable prices. The food served is hygienically prepared and is rich in nutrition content.

BTKIT Dwarahat guest room facility is available for the visiting faculty members and family members of students on a chargeable basis. The guest rooms include a VIP room and other rooms with attached or non-attached bathrooms. 

The entire campus is enabled with wi-fi. Students and faculty members can access the high-speed internet from anywhere inside the campus for free.

The college campus has a central library. The college also has departmental libraries and is well-stocked with numerous textbooks and reference books of both Indian and foreign authors. The library resources also include national and international journals on Engineering, Humanities and Science, periodicals, newspapers, magazines, encyclopedias, dictionaries, directories, atlases, autobiographies, CD-ROMs, e-books, e-journals, etc. Book bank facility is available in the central library, where every student is issued 5 books every semester free of cost. The library also provides inter library loan service and a reprography facility.

The IT infrastructure of BTKIT Dwarahat caters to the computational needs of the entire campus and provides a 24X7 internet facility on the campus including residential areas of the college. BTKIT Dwarahat IT infrastructure facilitates the research activities of the students and faculty members through Oracle Lab, Open Source Lab, CISCO Lab, Microsoft Lab, Communication Lab, etc. The IT infrastructure of the college maintains the college website, maintains an online admission portal, creates user accounts for file processing and monitoring, conducts computer-based tests during campus placement and many more.
