The college has a boy’s hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.
Girls Hostel

I.T Infrastructure
The college has 30 computers, 30 Headsets, software with 30 user licenses.
Cafeteria
The college canteen is functioning under a governing committee consisting of representatives from staff and students. It is run on a contract basis. The canteen provides all the delicious food at a subsidized rate.
Auditorium
The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.
Transport Facility
The college buses are plying through the veins and arteries of Munnar town and reach up to the hostels of the students and staff where they are put. It is functioning very effectively by the generous annual contributions of the students and staff. A committee led by the Principal controls it with the help of a Secretary. The college buses can be hired for academic as well as tourism purposes for students and staff with the prior permission of the committee as per the norms and rate fixed by the committee at that time.
Alumni Associations
The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The college has a departmental based laboratory facility for the students.
Convenience Store
The college has Eurographics center is functioning inside the college main building. Students can take Xerox of Reference books/Textbooks/Magazines/Question Papers for academic purposes.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The college has a Central Library of College of Engineering Munnar is sprawling over a carpet area of 470 sq.m with a three-story library structure, Central Library of the institution stands ahead of time with ample spaces for reading, reference, e-learning, and technical services. Should I join College of engineering Munnar or College of Engineering Cherthala?

Hello

College of engineering cherthala is better than munnar in placement and faculty wise. Average salary package offer in cherthala is around 3 lakh per annum. Around 60 to 70 %of student get placed every year. Top companies visiting are infosys, cognizant,IBS,TCS etc . Around 40%of student get internship. Faculty is good and knowledgeable and having good experience.

How is life in College of Engineering Munnar(CEM)?

Hello aspirant,

Life in College of Engineering, Munnar is certainly great for the ones who are here for academics. Facilities are provided adequately. Here, the academic level is given more focus by the faculty members of the college so as to give a proper structure of the career of the students. Besides, the beautiful campus has been the center of attraction. The college also provides better hostel and recreational facilities. Campus life is quite student-friendly and provides you a ragging free environment. Sports, though it is advertised by the institute that they focus on, but least it happens, anyways interested students participate and bring accolades. Placements are average though, everything depends on the opportunities grabbed y the student and his/her hard work and dedication.
