I don't think you can take admission without passing a subject in your 12th Board Examination. You have to reappear and pass with atleast minimum required aggregate in that subject.

The admissions in GEC Thrissur for Chemical Engineering are done on the basis of rank in KEAM through KEAM counselling.. 

The closing rank of 3rd round for Chemical Engineering at GECT for last year's admissions is 2705 for State Merit Category. Hope this helped.
