Hello Mittu,

Based on the rank you have secured and the category you belong to, you might have a chances to make it into the IIITD. Therefore you need not worry about it. Nothing is certain until the actual cut off is released. Keep trying through various counselling sessions.

Good luck! will be happy to help with any other doubts.

Hello,

According to eligibility criteria of KVPY
  • Candidates must be in the science stream and must have 75% marks in maths and science in 10th.
  • For 12th class, you need to secure 75% in 10th boards in maths and science.
  • For appearing in first year of Bachelor's degree candidate must secure 60% marks in maths and science in class 12th.
Good luck!

Hello,

There are lot of options you can pursue:

  • Editor-There wouldn't be much of a book industry without editors to clean up everyone's mess. Copy editors comb through a text to improve the style, clarity, grammar, and accuracy. Content editors and developmental editors take an author's ramblings and turn it into an actual story. Become an editor, and you'll get to spend your workday saving manuscripts and inserting Oxford commas to your heart's delight.
  • Archivists-"Archivist" sounds like some kind of wizard job out of a George R.R. Martin novel, but it's a real career that you can be a part of. Archivists work to assess and preserve archives, which can be anything from ancient manuscripts to postcards and diaries to digital files and analog film. Archivists are in demand in museums, universities, hospitals, libraries, corporations, and everywhere in between.
  • Library agent- Literary agents and managers sell their authors' books to publishers, and without them, the publishing industry just doesn't happen. If you're a people person who loves to read and then tell everyone about the great thing you just read, you might be a high-power literary agent in the making.
  • Book scout- Yes, there is a real job called "book scout," and yes, you get to run around scouting for books. Book scouts will work for agents, publishers, or film studios. Basically, their job is to scout out the next big thing, so foreign publishers can pick up the rights.
  • Translator- If you've ever tried to run a whole paragraph through Google Translate, you know just how invaluable a human translator is. Literary translators aren't just foreign language dictionaries, they're storytellers who reinterpret a text in a whole new language. It's a creative profession, especially when it comes to idioms that have no translation
  • Author- This is not a career for the faint of heart, but someone has to sit down and write all those novels and short stories and memoirs to begin with. And why not you? The only problem is that, unless you're a reality TV star, you probably have to write a whole manuscript before you can hope to get a book deal. So if you want to be an author, get to writing!

Dear Aspirant,

Hello aspirant!! You may have chance to grab a seat in lower grade NITs through your reservation category rank in core branches if you have home state quota. Though it would be very difficult and if you have luck and some seats are vacant then you may have chance. So, all the best!!

Hello aspirant,
The candidate must have cleared 10+2 Science stream schooling with Physics and Mathematics as the main subjects (age of candidate should not be less than 17 years when the course starts)

* Non Science stream students may pursue the required subjects through NIOS. NIOS schooling can be used to meet the above mentioned requirements. Apart from NIOS, non science stream students may also pursue the required subjects as private candidates from their respective state boards too!

* The minimum marks required is 50% (may vary from Institute to Institute) aggregate marks.
Class 1 Medical certificate is needed.

* Eye sight specifics- one eye has to have perfect eyesight, without any defects (6/6). It is allowed to have certain imperfection in the eyesight of the other eye (6/9). But this imperfection should be correctable to 6/6

For science stream students:
Most institutes have aPilot Aptitude Test, which a candidate must clear, in order to get selected. The Aptitude test is a3 stage process, comprising of-written examination,Interviewand theAptitude Test.

The written exam deals with subjects like- Mathematics, Geography, General Knowledge, English skills etc. This is followed by an Interview.
Candidates who manage to clear these two stages are called for the third stage- Pilot Aptitude Test. After the final stage, medical examinationis conducted. Finally, a merit list is prepared, based on the performance of candidates in each stage of the selection process as well as the medical examination. Based on merit, deserving candidates will be selected and trained to become Commercial Pilots!

Hello Mittu, I don't think you can get admission in any of the NITs or IIITs in any of the branches at this rank. The closing rank is much lower. You might try applying to some of the lower NITs like NIT Agartala, NIT Meghalaya, NIT goa and try your luck in the special round but I doubt that you would be getting any seats.

College Infrastructure

My college is not so huge compared to other colleges. But we have great facilities such as having Idea lab, Fab lab and many more which very few colleges have. We do have our own play ground as well as basketball court but we don't have a sports faculty,we students itself train ourselves. We have a library but since technology became the centre of attraction, libraries are not used by all the students. The infrastructure maybe small but this very fact has a great advantage which is we know each other very well. We share great bond with each other.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure may not be the highlight facet of the college, but it makes up with the fact that it is situated in a very good place, at the centre of the city of Kochi. Classrooms are great and well maintained, with WiFi available. There are football, basketball and volleyball courts for sports.

The best college where I could bring out my skills in engine
