Institute of Engineering & Management (IME), Kolkata students were interviewed together during its placements (January 2020).

The highest placement was offered 6.5 Lacs and the lowest was 1.8 Lacs. Overall placement in this college is quite good. Almost 90% placement offered for marketing and finance students.

IEM Kolkata is one of the best and top institute in west bengal which takes admission through west bengal's WBJEE exam. If we take SMVDU into account it takes admissions through jee mains. If we take the placement scenario, in both colleges most company that comes are mass recruiters
