According to the ratings released in 2020, Heritage ranks first in the list of top private engineering colleges in Kolkata, whereas IEM ranks 2nd. As far as academics are considered, both colleges are good and both gives priority to infrastructure, clubs, overall academic schedules. But the major difference lies when it comes to discipline. IEM has strict disciplinary rules and an attendance of 75% is compulsory to be able to sit for exams. Or else, they make it a priority to send messages to your parents when you bunk classes.

Both colleges provide good placement opportunities if you are consistent in your studies. Heritage had placements from Amazon, Byju's, TCS, etc this year.

Ece is quite better in comparison to It although both are having almost similar placement and packages though through my personal experience I can tell that ECE is better than IT.

In terms of rating IEM is better than techno salt lake, mechanical engineering in IEM becomes quite better option but if you are going for ECE in techno salt lake main campus it also become good because of good percentage of placement with this branch.
So In terms of rating and ranking IEM is prior than techno salt lake, facilities are provided by both but if it is about education is of both are providing good education so you can see according to the rating and student feedback which is given positively, in terms of placement both are having comparable placement percentage but if you want to go for government job after your BTech then I would suggest you to go with mechanical engineering while for ECE also there are government job available but you can go for it because after CS/IT placement, next number comes off EE//ECE.

as per the students verified review we can state that placements of future institute of engineering and management is good , every year around 85 to 90 percent students got placed of computer science and information technology , average package goes around 3.6 to 6 LPA , top recruiters are cognizant , wipro , extramarks. almot every student get internship.

see future institute of engineering and management comes under tier 2 college among the others private colleges of west bengal. however the college has excellent infrastructure , decent students faculty ratio, modern library and laboratory equipment. however the placements is good, but you can not expect two or three mncs, generally last years cognizant makes the major campuss drive and 70% of the students placed. so overall cse department is best among others stream. however location and transport system is not all satisfactory.

The closing rank of IEM Kolkata in first round of counselling is around 1500-1600 for Computer Science Engineering in general category but apart form that based on you rank you will get any branch of your choice in the first round itself but chances in CSE is slightly low.

Heritage institute of technology is a private engineering college in kolkata.it is affiliated by Maulana Abdul  Kalam Azad University of technology .

It was established in year 2001 and it's director is Dulal Chandra Roy .

Campus area is about 70 acres.

According to ranking given by NIRF  in 2018 ( NATIONAL INSTITUTE RANKING FRAMEWORK ) it is ranked in between 101-150 among engineering institute in India.wheras IEM is ranked on 25 given by NIRF.

both of them are approved by UGC.

IEM fee structure is around 5 lakhs whereas heriatge's fees is around 6 lakh.

So by considering the NIRF ranking IEM is better than HIT.
