Admission to the MBA and MCA courses are through UPSEE. The final merit list is prepared considering the marks obtained in the entrance examination as well as in the previous qualifying examination.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Being a govt college fees are like you are getting education free of cost. Total one year fee 25000 Hostel 10000 Mess 12000 and the experience of mess is awesome.

Firstly I would like to ask by which aspect do you want to pursue MBA, is it just for having a job after PG from government college or its having a well profound career in business administration field.

See IET is an engineering specialized college thus if you want to pursue its well an good go for it.. And you will have a apportunity for a decent job around 3 or 3.5 LPA.

But seriously if you are a meritorious one go for IIM or any other reputed private college coming under CAT because it will not only lead to good job and career but also your business personality is developed in mba specialized college.

But is it just only to have job and steady career u can opt IET...

As admission in IET Lucknow is through upsee so the minimum percentage required is 45% in aggregate in the three subjects including physics and maths as compulsory. As you have aggregate more than 45% so you are eligible for the admissions.

It's a great thing. You have got what you deserved as per your hard work and your qualifications. We just showed you way. You will do great ahead and show your potential at the correct time. You got CSE so just a piece of advice, practice programming languages seriously from your first day of your semester and don't leave it for a day. It will be kind of difficult but try to do it and have good conceptual knowledge. You will get a job as per it. And practice aptitude logical and verbal also. DO this in your free time but continuosly.

Thapar University is quite good college for pursuing engineering. The campus is big and infrastructure is very good.

Although syllabus is bit outdated, the faculty is experienced.

Also, the fees is on the high side.

As far as placement of Electronics students is concerned, it will a very good and the average package is around 6-7lpa.

Nava Nalanda Central Library at Thapar University has a total collection about 60,000 printed volumes including books, textbooks, standards and theses & dissertations. Books are organized on open access shelves in various collections. If you are looking for all the books on a particular subject, it is convenient to browse the shelves for that subject. Library books are arranged within each collection by their Subject Codes using Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) System. You can read as many books you can. In case the book that you wish to borrow is not readily available on the shelf you may request the same to be reserved for you. The library operations are fully automated.
