There are following academic departments in the institute-

Computer Science & Engineering

Biotechnology

Civil Engineering

Mechanical Engineering

Electrical Engineering

Electronics Engineering

Chemical Engineering

Business Administration

talking about the placement under this institute placement is neither very good nor very bad that is Average placement is there in this college. Most of the CS and IT candidates get placed in software companies with an average package of 3.5 Lac per annum. the maximum package is of 9 Lac companies visiting the campus are TCS ,Wipro ,IBM ,Honda ,Tata etc so it is good only if you opt for CS, IT or EC. Being in these branches, you will easily get a placement of around 3 lacs. For any other branch, the placement is almost nil. Rarely any core company visits to the institute.

The best advantage is that if you are not interested in Engineering and interested in future exams like: CAT, GATE, G.R.E., Banking, IES, IAS, then IET Lucknow[Esp CS and IT] is the place for you. There are very few classes in CS and IT and mostly the students are free to do whatever they want.

hope this helps !

good luck !

Hey. It is difficult to determine as to what rank must be required to get admission in IET Lucknow because the cut off depends upon the number of candidates appearing, difficulty level of the paper, and the performance of the candidates. However it can be said that one must obtain a rank as high as 1500-2000 to get branches like CSE and ECE. For other branches as rank of less than 4000 is required. Hope this helps. All the best.

Hello Mohammad,

To get admission in IET Lucknow you should score at least more than 450 marks.

The admission process is not based on marks but on the basis of ranks.

So, you should come under the 2000 rank.

Hope this will help you. All the best.

Good Luck!

Hello Madan,
Why you want to leave IET. It is very decent college. After exclusion of HBTI and MMMTU, It is only college of AKTU that has good rating and ranking. If you still want to go for further round of counselling then you can go for it. But it make no sense to get better option than IET.
Good Luck.

Firstly I would like to ask by which aspect do you want to pursue MBA, is it just for having a job after PG from government college or its having a well profound career in business administration field.

See IET is an engineering specialized college thus if you want to pursue its well an good go for it.. And you will have a apportunity for a decent job around 3 or 3.5 LPA.

But seriously if you are a meritorious one go for IIM or any other reputed private college coming under CAT because it will not only lead to good job and career but also your business personality is developed in mba specialized college.

But is it just only to have job and steady career u can opt IET.

Thanks,
Azim

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of IET Lucknow is well-equipped and efficient for students. The hostel and library amenities are reliable, and the Wi-Fi connection is stable throughout the campus. The campus is safe, and hostel entry is controlled appropriately. Classrooms have projectors and adequate seating.

Its is good

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the college is in shambles to tell frankly. The library has strange restrictions for taking up laptops. Classrooms and labs are okay with satisfactory and Wi-Fi connections are provided. Hostels are terrible. Food is tasteless and only one canteen is there on campus. The sports complex of college has been under construction for past few years with yet no completion in sight.

College life and academics both are good

College Infrastructure

The library is good; all books are available in our college library. There is no need to buy books from outside as the library allows borrowing books for a particular time. Classes are fully modern and clean. The computer labs are also clean, and all systems are in running condition. Wi-Fi facility is available but does not work properly.
