To get admission in IET your rank matters not marks because level of paper may vary with respect to previous years papers but you should try to score atleast 450 marks (under 3000 rank)to deserve some core branches you should try to get admission in the college in which

• JP institute of engineering and technology
  
• PSIT college of engineering
  
• BNCET
  
• Future institute of engineering and technology
  
• IEC college

Based on your rank there are some good colleges where you can apply. Some of the branches which you can get with ease are like CSE, IT, Electronics and communication, electrical and Electronics and instrumentation.

You may be a chance to get IET college if you wait till the last round,but u can't get the core branches.But by getting good marks in first year, you can change your branch. It is better to take IET college than any other college in AKTU
