The IHM Kolkata placement cell provides placement opportunities to students. Various training programmes such as mock tests, lectures by alumni, group discussions, aptitude, and technical tests are conducted by the IHM Kolkata placement cell for conducting the smooth placement drive.
IHM Kolkata graduates are placed in different industries such as hotels, retail, and others through IHM Kolkata placements. A total of 47 companies visited the IHM Kolkata campus in 2023 to conduct the IHM Kolkata placement drive.

Our college offers a 100% placement. If you need a job you will surely get it perhaps it might not be the desired salary. The average package was like 20k-25k CTC per month and highest as far I remember was like 35k/month CTC. Very good hotels and retails comes here like Reliance, Starbucks, Myntra, Taj, ITC, Oberoi, Aditya Birla, etc

Coming to your question I would like to tell you that diploma in the hotel management course is good for the future one as you can get a job easily in the places of the tourist interest and can start earning on your own. But always you can opt for higher studies if you don't want to stuck with smaller packages.
