I feel that the standard lecture halls are very basic and could use a significant contemporary update to enhance the environment for longer classes. Connectivity is reliable which helps with project work.

The physical campus itself is very small and does not feature vast sports fields or large communal green areas for students to lounge or play in. However, the compact environment unintentionally forces strong, instant social interaction and very quick bonding between students from various academic levels. Being centrally located in Kolkata is a massive, life-altering advantage, allowing incredible access to the city's amazing food, cultural hub, and endless entertainment. The student council does an admirable job organizing smaller, engaging internal events and cultural activities to ensure that all students have opportunities to participate and have fun. Hostel life, while governed by strict rules, creates a tight-knit network of friendships essential for navigating the academic workload and challenges.

The college's placement legacy is a critical factor for me, and it definitely delivers on its reputation. Even now, the final-year students are overwhelmed with interview slots and pre-placement offers from major five-star international and domestic brands recruiting directly from here. The industrial training for our batch was smoothly orchestrated by the placement team, ensuring everyone secured a valuable, structured experience in an operational setting.

Honestly, this is the winning aspect for me as attending this institute feels like hitting the educational jackpot. I am getting premier, government-subsidized education that usually costs a fortune at any other top hospitality college in the world. The minimal yearly fee means I am not saddled with a crushing student loan before I even begin my first job, unlike my friends in private institution.

Our college always focuses on academics and as far I remember it was India's no. 1 college in terms of academics on the year 2019-20 as per NCHMCT our affiliated board. And as it is a subject where you need hands on training, our college was well equipped with all the necessary facilities like kitchen, demo front office, demo hotel rooms and banquet.

The college infrastructure was according to me at its best. It had all essential facilities. The college has a attached hostel with a playground and basketball court, where we could also play volleyball and badminton. It has a big library, a canteen, and classrooms were equipped with smart projectors but the classrooms lacked AC.

You will absolutely enjoy the campus life, firstly we had a strict rule against ragging so our seniors were mostly nice to us. And every now and then we had some or the other events going on where we could participate like singing, dancing, cooking competitions, quizzes. We could also sit on our canteen and spend our free time. For smokers the college also allocated a seperate smoking room.

Our college offers a 100% placement. If you need a job you will surely get it perhaps it might not be the desired salary. The average package was like 20k-25k CTC per month and highest as far I remember was like 35k/month CTC. Very good hotels and retails comes here like Reliance, Starbucks, Myntra, Taj, ITC, Oberoi, Aditya Birla, etc

I think the fee is on the greater side, I had to spend 4 lakhs for 3 years which I felt to costly, It could have been around 2.5 lakhs to be worthy.
