The IHM Chennai was founded in the year 1963 by the Ministry of Tourism, Govt of India. The institute is affiliated to the Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi. IHM Chennai offers 3 year B.sc degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration, 2 year M.sc in Hospitality Administration, 1/2 year diploma programme in Food Production & Patisserie, 1/2 year diploma programme in Bakery & Confectionary, 1/2 year Craft course in Food Production.
