Average . not well maintained but you have everything , labs of computer , ece , electrical ,workshop for mechanical ,every necessary things, . wifi is available . canteen is clean . Masir dokan haridar dokan etc are there for eating .

good , but syllabus is old , follow your own , teachers are good , friendly and helpful , it is fine . you have to self study and do hard work and make a routine and follow it in your own pace . ok that's it.

good but hard work is important . Seniors are helpful in this matter and they will guide you in every possible way . Don't depend on college totally . you will be amazed and motivated to see the struggle of students to get placed in very big companies .thank you!

The college infrastructure is not that good compared to the private colleges but it's a fun life there..There are some buildings which are very old and some are new as the government is still developing the college.

The teachers are very helpful and supportive. They are always ready to help the students but some teachers can be a bit short tempered. But overall the teachers are good and more than ready to help the students.

The placement is good but at the end of the day it all depends on the students currently this year a lot of the students got internship in top IT companies and some of the students even got a chance to go abroad for there masters.

Good and I am enjoying a lot here and also all things are newly brought but some are old as well . But every things are taken care of and also students are encouraged to handle things carefully and taking responsibility

Very good teachers and faculties are extremely helpful and understanding . They help all the students of the college for placements as well as for higher studies .all kinds of problems are solved as well

Our college has the best infrastructure, It is a prestigious engineering college established in 1995.It is affiliated by MMAKAUT , the course fees us very little comparing to the other colleges.You can admit to the college by WBJEE counseling process. You should have under 5000 rank to get branches in our college. Over , it was my right decision to opt KGEC.I choose this college for some reason like good placement record, top-notch faculty.

Teachers in our college are very much helpful well-knowledge and friendly. Overall, teaching quality is best.I think the course curriculum is relevant for us,and it will help us to apply for new jobs in future . CSE department is really good.

95% of the total students are placed in different companies this year. The highest salary offered was 15 lakh .The lowest salary is 8 lakh. Average salary is about 9 lakh. Tech Mahindra come to recruit from the mechanical department of KGEC. 100% students got internship is various companies like DSP,NTPC, Mahindra and other big companies.

The tuition fees for ece is 12000 per anum. Apart from that you have to pay 1200 per semester as exam fees.There are some tuition fee waiver (tfw) quota for rid of tuition fees. Besides , college provides full fees hip and half fees hip for needy students.

Life of campus is excellent . There are many chances to revel your extracurricular activities. There are clubs like music club-RIYAZ, dance club- Elysium, LLiterature club- Litmus, Entrepreneurship Cell etc. The name of the fest is Espektro. It is consisted of Techtix-Tech fest and Exotiya-Cultural fest.

As KGEC is affiliated under MAKAUT, so the course curriculum is made by the university. The curriculum is quite good and good to say it has been updated recently. The faculty student ratio is nearly 1:10. The faculties are highly qualified and have many research papers and ph.d.

Our college is a comparatively new government college and the college infrastructure is very good.There are various buildings, classrooms and labs for each department.Wifi facility is available throughout the whole campus.Labs contain all necessary gadgets and instruments.There are 5 hostels in our college.Hostel rooms are clean and hygienic,LAN facility available in hostels.Quality of Food provided in hostels are average.We have electricity, playground,water facility available in our college.

Teachers in our college are very knowledgeable,well qualified and very helpful.We have projectors in our college for teaching.Our college stands 2 nd in terms of college s under wbjee.Many teachers of our college have done PhD in their respective fields.The course curriculum follows the Makaut syllabus which is very relevant.Many students of our college has cracked many competitive exams with good ranks such as gate,isro,Drdo,barc etc.

Every year more than 60 % students placed in software companies but less students gets job in core companies.This year TCS,go speedy go,wbsedcl etc companies recruited from our college.Students are free to participate in off campus,pool campus and internships.Highest package offered was 12 lpa and lowest package offered was 2.4 lpa.This year many seniors got job with big package through off campus drives.Our TPO gives us guidance about career.

We have to pay 6000 per rupees as semester fees and 2000 rupees per month as hostel meal charge.The college offers scholarship for economically poor students.Though we pay very less fees but we got world class facilities.So the fees is very less but chance to develop yourself as an engineer is very big.

Campus life in kgec is very cool and enjoyable.We have various clubs for extracurricular activities.Thtoughout the whole year various types of seminars,fedts, etc are organised.Our annual techno management fest Espektro is the host of many artists for every year.The college provides a very good platform to showcase your real talent.

Our college is comparatively a new college as compared to other engineering college s in West Bengal.So our college's infrastructure is very good.We have 5 hostels, separate buildings and labs for each department,free WiFi facility throughout the whole campus.Our college provides a big playground for sports activities.Our college has a very big library with a huge collection of books.

I am studying electronics and telecommunication engineering.I choose this course because we can go to both core sector and software industry.Our faculty members are very knowledgeable and experienced.They are always ready to help us.Almost every faculty members are PhD holders.Our college is under Makaut .The course curriculum is very relevant.It makes us ready for industry.

This year placements are very good compared to other year.Tcs is the main recruiter in our college.Every year various companies visits our college for campus placements such as TCS, Capgemini, infosys,kreeti technologies, Wipro etc .In on campus placements almost every job is offered to cse and it students.There is a lack of core companies visiting our college.Highest salary offered was 12 lpa and lowest package offered was 4 lpa.This year almost 70 % students got their job in campus placements.

I pay 6000 rupees per semester as tution fees,1800 per month as mess fee in hostel.As it is a government college so we pay very less fees compared to other colleges.We get every facilities in cheap fees.College provides us free coaching for spoken English,gate exam preparation.So by paying very less fees we get every facilities which is needed in a college.So of course joining kgec is worth it.

Our college provides 5 hostels for students ,1 for first year boys ,1 for all the girls students and 3 hostels for 2 nd,3 rd and 4 th year boys.Our college provides separate buildings and labs for each department s.There are 2 big grounds ,one for sports activities and one for fests.All labs and classrooms are well furnished and well equipped.All the labs are with AC.We have a big library with a huge collection of books .We have a big auditorium and a seminar hall for seminars.

We stand 2 nd as compared to other colleges under WBJEE.Our college is under MAKAUT (formerly WBUT) which is a very good university.Almost all the faculty members of our college is PhD holders ,even some of them have done M.Phil .They are very helpful and always ready to clear our every doubt.They regularly gives us guidance about careers,skills, studies etc.But our temporary teachers are not good.Currently I am studying B.Tech in Information technology.Its course curriculum makes us job ready.

Campus life in our college is awesome.Our college is localted in university of kalyani campus which is not far away from kalyani ghoshpara station.We get direct trains to Sealdah station from it.Kalyani town hospital and new kalyani aims is not far away from our college .So we can go there incase of any medical emergencies.Our college organises various events, seminars,fests,pujas all the year.Our annual techno management fest Espektro is one of the biggest college fests in West Bengal.

Our college doesn't provide any scholarship.It provides half and full freeship to the poor students who can't afford to pay tuition fees.Students can apply for various scholarships provided by state and central government.

Classrooms have ample space with WiFi connectivity all over the campus. All courses and their respective laboratories are fully equipped and functional. The food quality provided in the college canteen is just above average. we have a huge ground for our sports activities. We have designated boys common room for indoor sports.

the biggest drawback to the college lies here. since our college is affiliated to MAKAUT, the course provided is very backdated and no significant update has been done in this sector. teachers here are highly qualified but there means of teaching in not innovative. they teach like we are like GOD DAMN robots.

The Placement Scenario gets better and better with each passing out batch. TCS and Cognizant are mass recruiters. one can get placed in companies like Google, Microsoft, D.E. SHAW totally upon their skills and knowledge. about 90% of students get placed in my course. almost 50-60% of students got internships opportunities

my course fee is 6000/- per semester, which sums up to 48000/- for 4 years. i personally feel that one should join this college only if you have a money constraint in your family. If you are financially stable opt for any top tier colleges in Bangalore, there you will better exposure to the world and will live a life whole lot different.

Being a government college it's infrastructure is good and new . It has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments but it lacks the well developed sport centre. Class rooms are nice , laboratories are equipped with all the necessary instruments .

I am studying Electronics and communication engineering. Teaching is very good and the teachers are experts in their respective fields.The Curriculum is continuously updated by the makaut and they try to improve this by implementing new ways. But i think if they focus more on the practical knowledge like the medical students get. they practice what they're taught so if they provide us with internships, and let us work on projects.

The placements are good more than 75% gets placed some of the students are gate aspirants. Last year a student was placed in Google .there are many good companies come to recruit us Like Tcs CTS INFOSYS AND MANY OTHERS

The value for money is excellent ,the facilities that are available for you against what you pay is awesome.The fees for a year is 12000 rs ,6000 per semester. If you compare other colleges fees then you can clearly see the difference , engineering is a quite expensive course.

Campus is good the talented students have decorated the walls with their art works there are many clubs which are engaged in different activities that encourages the students to show case their other talents and help the students to become all-rounder. Campus is safe .
