The new eligibility criterion for admissions to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs has been announced after MHRD eliminated 40 per cent weightage to class XII board marks in preparing JEE Main Rank List. Till 2016, the JEE Main Rank List would be prepared basis 60 weightage to JEE

College Infrastructure
Narula institute of Technology is a quite good college in South Bengal. All types of Labs facilities are good. AC classroom is also available. Smart classroom seminar hall and large playground are available for every type of sports. Large building and control lab are also available

The infrastructure is well maintained with functional classrooms, decent labs and necessary facilities. while not luxurious, it comfortably supports academic and student activities very well. it is well arranged
