Hi Aishwarya,
This depends on your choice and interest for the two subjects. Both Bengaluru colleges are good when it comes to faculty and the fee structure is also almost similar. However, for placements, both colleges have decent records with RNS being slightly better. Mostly all CSE students get easily placed, but ISE also involves IT so it might not be too difficult to get a job. The average package is between 3-4 lakhs, since only few high paying companies visit both the colleges for recruitment.
You need to think about your future career plans, subject interest and then decide.
Hope this helps.
All the best.
Hello aspirant,
The branches from the respective colleges which you have listed are all trending branches from top engineering colleges of karnataka. But based on student reviews, college infrastructure , considering packages and faculty facilities, I would suggest you to go for ECE in dayanand sagar or BIT. But mech in BMS is good for you if you have better interest in tools and hard Work.
Here is the list of the options that you should consider for good placements-
1. mech in BMS
2. ECE in BIT
3. ECE in dayanand sagar
4. CSE in RNSIT
5. ECE in MVIT
Hello Saurav,
The procedure to get admission in RNS Institute of Technology can be done through CET/COMDEK entrance exam or by Management Quota. If a student secures a good rank in COMDEK entrance exam he may have the chance of getting a seat in RNSIT through merit. Otherwise, you can approach by Management Quota and the allotment is done on First Come First Serve basis. For more information follow the link below:-

Hello niveditha,
Based on cutoff ranks of rnsit in the year 2018 for general merit, am sorry to say that you would not get a cs seat in rnsit for general merit. Cutoff rank was 3789 for cs in the year 2018. But you can still get a cs seat in other good colleges such as cmrit or atme. Good luck!
Hello Shruthi
If you are getting through CET,the fee structure is 40–50k per annum(Hostel excluded). It does not vary much for the next three years. If you are getting through COMEDK,the fee structure is 1.3lakh per annum. It's always almost the double of the CET fee structure.Lastly,if you are getting through Management Quota,it's around 3lpa,almost the double of COMEDK.The fee structure varies from department to department also, Electronics and Communication and Computer Science being a little more than the rest.
College has a big and clean campus with well-structured buildings. Each department has separate labs and smart classrooms. The library is modern and contains many books, journals, and computers for students. Wi-Fi is available in hostels and some parts of the college. Hostels are well-managed with good food, clean bathrooms, and laundry facilities. There’s also a medical room on campus. The sports ground is large, and indoor games are encouraged too. Canteen food is tasty and affordable for most students.
RNSIT is an underrated college with great ROI. It offers strong academics, good infrastructure, and excellent placements. Lack of marketing hides its potential, but consistent students can secure top offers.
The college has a very good infrastructure. There is a temple on campus. Hostels are available on campus. There are different buildings for different courses. Wi-Fi is available. A computer lab, chemistry lab, and mechanical lab are available. There is also a huge library. The facilities available in hostels are not so good. There are many restrictions.
