Very good infrastructure, with all the necessary laboratories, equipment, and experienced faculty to support effective learning. My course costed approximately ₹1.98 lakhs per year. Considering the quality of infrastructure, experienced faculty, updated curriculum, and overall campus facilities, I feel it offers good value for money. The college provides decent placement opportunities, well-equipped labs, and a supportive learning environment, which justifies the fees. Overall, the return in terms of academic exposure and career support makes the investment worthwhile.

Our college has pretty solid infrastructure. The classrooms are spacious and have projectors. Labs are well equipped with the latest tools, especially in the computer and electronics departments. The library is really good has a wide range of books and enough space to study quietly. Wi-Fi is available across the campus and it's reliable most of the time. Sports facilities are decent with a basketball court, football ground, and indoor games area. The hostels are clean, and maintenance staff are usually quick to respond. The mess food is okay, not great, but hygienic. Overall, it’s a comfortable place to study and live.
The academics in our college are good. Most of the teachers are helpful and teach well. The syllabus is updated and covers important topics. Regular classes, lab sessions, and tests help us stay prepared. Sometimes the workload feels a bit much, but it’s manageable. Overall, if you attend classes and study regularly, it’s easy to keep up.
Placements at VIT Chennai are pretty decent. Many companies visit the campus, and students do get good opportunities if they are prepared. The placement cell provides good support and guidance throughout the process. Overall, I feel satisfied with the placement efforts and the kind of chances we get here.
Considering the campus, facilities, teaching quality, and opportunities, I’d say the college gives good value for the fees we pay. You get a good environment to learn and grow, both academically and personally. It feels worth it in the long run.
Campus life is vibrant and engaging. There are plenty of clubs, fests, and events going on throughout the year. Whether you’re into tech, dance, music, or sports, there’s something for everyone. The crowd is diverse and friendly, and you get to meet students from different parts of the country. The faculty and staff are also approachable and supportive outside the classroom. It’s a great environment overall, both for learning and enjoying college life.
The college infrastructure is really good. People with interest can easily learn new skills, get into new projects and get well versed in various tech skills. It is really a great place to start or boost ones knowledge. The infrastructure the college provides meets the International standards.
I am a fina year student doing B Tech, Computer Science Engineering with specialization in AI and ML. The quality of teaching is very good and faculties are very helpful and knowledgeable. They are very supportive.
Placements in the year 2025 were a bit less due to the recession period going on but as such placements are very good. If one maintains a good cgpa then that person can land into their dream company and with a very good salary.
The infrastructure at VIT Chennai is exceptional, surpassing even that of many IITs and other private institutions. The air-conditioned hostels provide comfort, and the quality of food in the mess is commendable.
The academic competition is intense, but the curriculum can be considered moderate and fairly average. The teaching staff, while capable, is also average, so self-study plays a crucial role in mastering the material.
Placements are a strong aspect of VIT Chennai, with students often securing jobs with packages around 8 LPA, even with minimal effort during their time at the college. However, luck also plays a significant role in the placement process.
Your admission category greatly influences the overall value of attending the college. For students in Category 1, 2, or 3 under the CSE program, VIT Chennai offers good value for money. However, the same cannot always be said for other categories or engineering branches.
Campus life is arguably the most disappointing aspect of this college. There are numerous restrictions within the campus, making it difficult to enjoy a sense of freedom. Additionally, the process for leave approval is cumbersome, and outings are typically only allowed on weekends.
It has pretty decent infrastructure. We have all the necessity amenities nearby, hence the infrastructure complements the busy student life of engineering. We have Domino's in the campus, also we have in campus gym and salon.
Pretty decent academics. Equipped to the new curriculum. Being a civil engineering student which is core engineering course we were also being taught about Coding and other such new and upcoming things.
Very good placement opportunities. Each student is handpicked and trained to get in their best for. The support from the PAT is also tremendous. Its also nice to see various teachers helping you get in the best shape.
The college's infrastructure is pretty good. Good, well maintained labs and classrooms. Hostels could use for both rooms and wifi availability and better cleaned toilets. The academic blocks are well situated and clean.
Studying at vit chennai is quite enjoyable and competitive. Most professors are very approachable and nice, and will help with most doubts and projects. The curriculum is rigorous, fostering innovation and critical thinking.
The college offers rigorous training for any and all placements offers that a student could get. The training is rigorous and can span over multiple days. As a final year mech student I have not fully experienced the training as it starts a little later for me.
The college ensures that you recieve the bang for your buck. With what I have paid for the college fees I am completely satisfied with what VIT Chennai has delivered in all academic aspects. The hostel was my only let down.
The best part of this campus is that we get full control over our teachers and time tables. However, there are a few over the top rules in place. Going out as a hosteller is too much of a hassle and in time is 9 pm.
The college infrastructure has all the basic technology and devices required for engineering students in any branch. The number of students studying in the university is large and are supported well by the infrastructure.
The courses offered are up-to-date and required in the current market and industry. Although the evaluation and quality of teaching vary greatly and mostly falls short. Sometimes the students are given multiple tasks or projects that over burdens them.
The placements are organized and managed by an independent body of the university which tries their best to provide students with opportunities. Though competition for placements is high and requires students to be dedicated from the beginning.
The infrastructure is very well established and has all the facilities for a mechatronics engineer and of other engineering domains and the best part is that one can use all their f it under the guidance of a professor for self improvement. The living spaces are also clean and wonderful.
The academic part of the college is also very flexible and at the same time helps implement the knowledge in the minds of those completing the courses. The subjects can be chosen as per the students wish apart from the mandatory ones and that helps a lot.
The placements is one of the top reasons for being in this college. Even the training of the placements is very good and the number of companies to select from is very vivid, there by giving us a lot of choices.
It is value for money as well as the hostel the college and lab infrastructures are exceptional and that all the lecturers all have phd's and that is good value for money as they have a ton of knowledge on display which a boon to all those who study here.
The campus life is one to look forward to as it has everything from studies to research to sports and with lots of stores and canteens and the culture of the residents is very diverse as there are people from multiple fronts of life. So there's lot to learn and enjoy from.
Nothing other than the fact that the college is really good for those aspirants who would love to gets their hands all in into the depths of engineering from whatever background or course they have chosen.
