If you are enquiring regarding admission to B.E/B.Tech in NSUT and DTU then the admission is based on All India Rank in JEE Main through JAC counselling. Each branch has different cut off. Every year the cut off changes as it depends on various factors such as total number of candidates applied, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. You can check the previous year cut off for JAC counselling using the link given below

Considering the previous year cut off you need to score minimum 95 percentile or above in JEE Main. For that you need to score minimum 180-190 marks or above in the Entrance Examination.

Dear Student,

Actually it depends upon the position they want to recruit like if they come here for software developer post then definitely they will allow only CSE/IT student to sit campus placement not any other branch. You should also know that Google, Microsoft, Amazon etc. are product based companies and they mostly hire student  from CSE/IT group only.

If you also want a place in this company then you need the develop the required skill and then apply for the off campus placement where your branch doesn't matter, whether you are from mechanical or microbiology, you just need to develop the required skill.

To be eligible to get admission in DTU,  NSUT, you need to submit valid OBC-NCL certificate to the authorities. Only on the basis of OBC category or certificate you cannot get admission. It is must to fall under OBC Non Creamy layer to avail benefits of reserved category otherwise you will be counted as general candidate. You can check out on your own if your caste is mentioned in the reserved category(OBC - NCL) central list.

Call later entry in BTech course up Delhi Technological University Delhi,candidates should have the past three years diploma course with at least 60% marks from any  polytechnic College. Recognised and approved by AICTE Delhi.Candidate has  to face an admission test of Delhi Technological University for  taking admission in the B course in the respective stream that the candidate is interested to take admission. For lateral entry admission in BE or BTech CSE branch the same eligibility criteria is followed in Delhi Technological University Delhi which is a  state University  college of government of Delhi.

Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 pattern of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately. Candidate must additionally have passed English as a subject of study (core/ elective/ functional) in the qualifying examination.

Admissions Criteria:

All applicants are required to appear in Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main Paper 1 Conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). The University shall not conduct its own CET for admissions, but shall be utilizing the merit of JEE Main Paper 1 for its admissions. The admissions would be based on the merit / rank in the JEE.

Delhi Technological University,Delhi - eligibility criteria

A candidate securing 60% or more in an aggregate of Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics and has passed English(Core or Elective) as a subject of study at the Senior School Certificate Examination level and having JEE main Rank(Paper-I) shall be eligible for admission to the first semester of B.tech provided he/she has passed in each subject separately.

It is very difficult to predict the marks/percentile/rank required in JEE mains to get a seat in DTU as cut off  keeps changing every year due upon several factors like

• number of students that appeared in the jee main exam,

• kind of marks obtained by them ,

• toughness level of the jee main examination ,

• number of seats available for the branch you want etc.

When we go through previous year trend then ,

In round 9 of jac counselling 2020, for obc category  to get Mathematics and Computing, 99556 crl rank was closing   rank for delhi region student in DTU.

To be eligible for DTU one must pass his or her class 12th board examination with physics chemistry mathematics and English and must have got at least 60% in aggregate of physics chemistry and mathematics .
