Dear Aspirant,

You have to choose in which engineering branch you are interested. After that, you have to choose the college. Because, if you are interested in Computer Science Engineering The LNM Institute Of Technology is a very good college, it has very good coding cultures which will help in your Career. And if you are passionate about core branches like Mechanical, Electrical You go for Delhi Technological University / Netaji Subhas University Of Technology. Also, you will get an extra edge in your career for taking admission to These Government Colleges.

Hello,
You are confused between two colleges and two streams. First you have to choose in which engineering stream you want to gear up your career.
Chemical Engineering and information technology are two different fields. Chemical Engineering is the study of operation and design of chemical plants as well as methods of improving production. The information technology is about learning software systems, web development these type of things. First you choose which field you want go get on and then decide the college.
All the best.

hi,

delhi technological university conducts m.tech admission based on gate score or entrance test by the university.

the cutoff score for obc ncl for 2020-2021 session is as follows:

cse obc lowest score gate -523

software engineering lowest gate score-500

score are up to date after third round of counselling.

to know in details follow the below link:

http://www.dce.ac.in/Web/Admission/brochure/2020/M.Tech_3ndR_provisionally_admitted.pdf

hi,

well Delhi technological university fees structure is as follows.

m.tech course for full time is 2 years.

total fees of first year- 166,000

total fees of second year- 166, 000

http://dtu.ac.in/Web/notice/2019/jan/file0122.pdf

now coming to the admission process, the total fee of the m.tech program should be fully paid by the candidates at the time of admission in favour of dtu by demand draft. it can not be paid by installation. failing to deposit the amount by the stipulated time leads to cancellation of the candidature and admission will be offered to next eligible candidate.

follow the admission brochure to know in details:

http://dtu.ac.in/Web/Admission/brochure/2021/brochure_mtech2021.pdf

hope it would help.

Hi

It is difficult to predict the marks you need in JEE mains to get a seat in DTU as cut off  keeps changing every year  depending upon several factors like  number of students that appeared in the jee main exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the jee main examination , number of seats available for the branch you want etc.

When we go through previous year trend then ,

In round 9 of jac counselling 2020, for general category , 62748 was closing   rank for outside delhi region student in DTU and it was for biotechnology.

You can check the same at

https://cache.careers360.mobi/media/uploads/froala_editor/files/1608643929phpfepjgf.pdf

So , to be on the safer side you should try to get  around 60,000  rank which is roughly around 94.7 percentile i. e around 115 marks as per our rank predictor at

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

Also,

To be eligible for DTU one must pass his or her class 12th board examination with physics chemistry mathematics and English and must have got at least 60% in aggregate of physics chemistry and mathematics .

Seats are offered through JAC Delhi counselling conducted on the basis of jee main.

  • In which 85% seats are reserved for Delhi region  students.

  • While the rest  15% seats are available for outside Delhi students

Now, limited time is left for jee mains 2021 for remaining sessions , so focus on your preparation, to prepare well for your jee examination, go through chapters first and your focus should be on grasping concepts , practising questions and then revising them, go through mock test paper sample papers and previous year question papers as it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination.

To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to,  your home state, your gender etc, the link for  jee main college predictor is provided below

hi,

see engineering physics is a research oriented field, majority of the students opt for masters after completing b.tech in engineering physics. however if you want to get placed in software engineering/ analytics company you need to work hard and study apart from your college syllabus. there is many mncs like mcs, infosys, ibm hires candidates for software engineer role irrespective of branch.

since dtu placement record is good you will get ample opportunity to showcase your skills. so beside college exam preparation learn top notch technology ,coding, participate in tech fest, make projects to add credit points in your resume.

Hi Aspirant,

Yes, Mathematics and Computing is similar to Computer Science Engineering branch. It is a combination of mathematics with computer science and financial engineering. It contains 40% of Mathematics, 30% core Computer Science and 30% of Artificial Intelligence.

Now talking about placement, almost all the companies which are open for placement of CSE/IT are open for Mathematics and Computing Engineering as well.

Especially in DTU, companies like amazon, samsung research, delloite, ITC, snapdeal, Wipro, etc who are open for CS/IT are open for placement to MCE as well.

You can refer to official website of DTU for more information,

http://dtu.ac.in/Web/Academics/bacheloroftechnology.php

And for more information on MCE refer the link below,

Hope this is resourceful.

All the best!!!
